On a pair of New Yorkers, is hemming as straightforward as on a normal pair of pants or does the rip stop material need additional consideration? Thanks.

Per experience with FW21 collection, the NB is a lesser casual version of the Bedford. Its slightly slimmer and a tad longer. Also, some of the details like stitching around the shoulder area removeable buttons are not present on the NB.

Fair point about replacing with another Bedford. I suppose the hemming route seems simpler than selling and buying. Aside from a competent tailor anything I need to consider should I get an inch hemmed? Thanks!

Since this is one of two most active EG threads, thought I'd ask my question regarding the Bedford's length here. Anyone ever have their Bedford's length shorted or have thoughts on doing this? Thanks!
