Do you mean a patch chest pocket or the patch ticket pocket? If ticket pocket, any tailor can snip them out and you'll never see it on a textured material. I usually leave them, but I had one removed from a jacket where I really disliked the look.- owenshill

I'm thinking of a single MTO in suede, and I find that I need a tongue-pad sometimes to take up room in the shaft of the boot so the quarters are snug. I'm still hopeful for some comparisons between the fit of 325 and 379. Specifically, is the volume and length about the same between the two. 325 fits me well, but is as voluminous as I can go. Sorry to make things even more confusing, but I would be interested in joining the Russian Grain group, too if the soles are double-leather or studded. I'm not as interested in Ridgeway.
