I think the buy/sell forum here has a lot to do with that. I’ve been able to trade (either directly or indirectly) every size that didn’t work for something that did. There seems to be a great group on this forum who gives other members first shot rather than returning. I also notice that XS...

    18 East Buy-Sell-Trade Thread

I'm going to part with the Navy single-pleats in medium. Got them yesterday and have only tried them on once. $150 shipped. SOLD

Exact same issue here. Out of curiosity - what size on the windowpanes? Mine were Medium.

I ordered my usual size as well. If the sizing changed significantly I'm sure buy/sell will be active enough to get what I need. That's what happened with the double knees and after a bit of time I ended up with the size I needed in both green and black.

lol the panic of seeing the email one minute late and realizing you forgot all about the drop. Luckily still snagged both pants

    18 East Buy-Sell-Trade Thread

While medium goreckis fit me perfectly, the double knees in the same size are exactly as you describe. Too tight in the seat and crotch. I was able to swap my black pair for a large and that fits me much better. I'm looking to swap my green mediums for a large if anyone is up for that -...

Skoaktiebolaget – Enzo Bonafé, Saint Crispin’s, Löf & Tung

Not for me unfortunately, I went with these as a winter boot.

So good as usual. I owe this thread some pics of my navy shell austerity brogues from the fall MTO waiver. They turned out fantastic. I was worried as I waited for these with the recent horror stories but this was another order from Carmina with my expectations fully met.

Not that you need a longer list - but if you could stick my name on the waitlist that would be great.

Decisions decisions. Was getting ready to pull the trigger on a winter boot - Commando sole with a robust leather. Was thinking the Kingsley would fit the bill but now looking at the Champlain. Anyone with the Champlain care to chime in with how warm the lining is? My concern is that it...

Carmina Shoes - Definitive Thread (reviews, advice, sizing, etc...) - official thread.

Green is a great color and is way more versatile than you may think. Granted mine are "Brolive" which is a bit more brown, they are still without a doubt green. I wear them often with both blue and gray trousers and get nothing but compliments. Pairing them with brown accessories (match the...

Those are fantastic - thanks for validating my decision. Now of course I'm questioning whether I should have gone with a violet lining.

I did burgundy CXL and find it to be a good bridge as you posit. The sneaker is really comfortable and while I initially was a bit skeptical about it's utility, I wear them quite frequently. I think polo suede would be a great choice. On another note - I did decide to take the Navy Cordovan...

**The Official Shoe Care Thread: Tutorials, Photos, etc.**

Rubbing? Rubbing requires motion - so unless you are storing them in your car, boat, or RV I wouldn't worry about rubbing. Don't overthink storage. For shoes in a regular rotation, even a once or twice a month rotation, I just keep them treed. For shoes that are seasonal, I store them...
