    ^^^ I'm curious also to the height of the SD. I am very close to ordering a pair of whites, and trying to decide if the 5" vs. the 6" height might be uncomfortable. Only reason I even ask is because trying to read this thread from the beginning, at around a hundred pages in someone mentions...

    Probably a silly question, but are those DOPP kits meant to be carried outside of a bag on its own? I can't imagine that thing being able to fit in something like my 257 and for me it would probably be a bit too large, but curious how you travel with it and how you like it in general... nice...

    Okay random question. Would you guys say whenever you get a boot or shoe with a toe cap, it should have the external heel counter also? As in the BH as opposed to let's say a toe cap on the more minimal look of a SD? I just noticed how balanced a boot looks with both while looking through...

    Okay thanks guys. Its a shame, other than the laces being a bit close together, about 3/4" with DarnTough light cushion socks, the 9.5D are starting to really feel good on my feet. The heel slip has seemed to go away already about 75% after about a week now. Thanks.
