I’ve found I can wear either pretty successfully. I don’t wear ties, so open collar the neck isn’t really an issue.

I think you’ll be satisfied with contemporary. I go back and fourth with whether it is a more ideal fit. I do nitpicky! After dinner I certainly long for contemporary over slim :). In the end I opt for a tighter fit.

We are quite similar. Although last measure of my chest was just shy of 39”and I still find the 38R Slim the most ideal fit. The contemporary equivalent feels too too roomy, although it is not at all a poor fit.

For what it’s worth, I’m not sure how accurate the SS measurements are anymore. I own a few newer Havana jackets and they are definitely tighter in just about every area than the SM Contemporary. The Havana is closer to the SM slim in my personal opinion.

Hello Folks, any suggestion as to the fit on the unlined 2019 Neo cut vs. standard lines and lightly padded core suits? Ultimately, the slim Neo fits fantastic, but I’m wondering if with lining and padding the slim suit coat might be a bit snug. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Been a while since posting, crazy busy at work, but have still been silently observing here! McAllisters today Also, as this is somewhat related for the Shell Horween fiends, picked up a Fluco Horween Shell strap for my Apple Watch and am very happy with it! Great look and feel!

The other way around. Ordered the Bengal, received a pencil strip marked as Bengal. Can’t decide if I’m going to send back or swap. The Bengal, as another poster noted, seems to run shorter in the sleeves and even a bit in body length. Doesn’t like like they have the longer sleeves on the blue...

Same experience here. The pencil stripe is labeled as the Bengal. I’ll requesting a return on mine too.

I’m trying to be better about only buying “in-season”, but I’ve debating ordering this. I feel it would probably get a lot of use. In my particular line of work, a pretty standard navy blazer/sport coat is pretty effective and not “too much” in front of most of my customers. Though, I think...

Thanks for the feedback everyone. You’ve confirmed my thoughts: they are too slim. Seems they’ll have to go back and I’ll keep an eye out to see if any 32 contemps or 33slims come back in stock on either of these Thanks again very much all!

Team, hoping for some opinions. I picked up the fresco trousers in brown and gray in a 32 Slim (first try for S&M trousers, and the slim jacket works best). Their contemporary counterparts have been out of stock and I don’t expect them back. These are a tad slimmer than I am used to, but I can’t...
