The paranoid aesthetic?
i'd like to strongly second the bauhaus mention and also suggest echo and the bunnymen, wipers, pixies, pink floyd, the flaming lips, and King Crimson. Now that Apple is Windows-compatible, to switch or not to switch to Mac?
