Overcoat Fit Advice

Custom made Walking shoe for the countryside - who does a good job making them?
David, you really should try Russell's. for super wide width, the only way you are going to be happy is with custom boots.. or your NB. there is no off the rack maker that puts out anything wider than EE. you could go with custom Whites or Nicks, but they will be far far heavier than Russell's...- johnnymiz

Serious fashion advice
You already buy at JP and BB and know your sizes and how they fit, so just go there... head to the sportcoat section. They both have lots to chose from. Blue blazer, some kind of blue patteren (check or plaid), brown pattern, and grey pattern. Dont just wear the jacket from one of your suits...- johnnymiz

If those were E instead of D they would be gone already. I love them. BUT, as to your cat... i know the feeling. 2 years ago my 10 year old dog had "stomach flip". Never heard of it. Advice on a hat that's not a ball-cap/truckers cap
I generally dont bash but that would certainly be a no-go for me. Canadian Mountie pops into my head when i see that. I dont know where you live, and that might alter my view, but I would be more inclined to go with a teardrop fedora and turn the brim up all around to get away from the Indy...- johnnymiz

By the way... it turned out that the Leffot tankers were an anomaly. Although they are Barrie, they fit and look narrower than others I have. All here ar 9E, but the Tanker looks and feels more like the Brogue Plaza shoe on the left than it does the Brogue V-Tip and AoM George, wich are both...- johnnymiz

#3 on my Alden journey. I chose the classic 405. I saw a brand new in box pair on the bay in EE width that were sub-$300.
