Didn't follow the sizing discussion closely, but just curious if the measurement is 9C and 8.5E, shouldn't the median, which is D, the best shot? Also wondering if Alden's heel/ball width combinations are always fixed to B/D, A/C, C/E, etc or you can have some odd combos? If not you may want to...- unil79

They did the same thing with the natty cxl wingtip last week. I was lucky to get one before sold out and it’s shipped yesterday. Hope they’ll include those cap-toe shell boots next time.- unil79

I was able to get the natural cxl wingtip with discount before my size sold out. That blue suede is so beautiful though, if only i haven’t got a cxl indy already. Good to see jcrew is getting more creative with their Alden co-op.- unil79

I wore my HM for maybe half of this summer when i was traveling overseas. Temperature was constantly above 90s but i don’t feel much of discomfort, at least not on my feet. I wore light, thin wool socks and the boots feel quite breathable to me. Granted i tried to stay indoors as much as i can.- unil79
