If you stretch it a bit more you can get MTM from The Finery Company in Paddington. My wife is getting a suit made and from the first fitting the MTM looks great- nakky

A colleague just picked up some ZC suits from The Finery Company and they were excellent, especially the trousers. They are having a trouser promotion on now and am looking to get some chino's made up for summer. Worth checking out if you are in the market for bespoke trousers.- nakky

I agree - however I love the look of an overcoat so I end up buying lightweight suits (more suitable for Sydney anyway) and lighter cloth for the coats to suit. Checked it out this week with a mate who is ordering one. First fittings will be ready in mid/late April so will get a proper look then. From the examples Joe has, they look to be a quality product. Will be back when he launches his bespoke overcoat promotion.- nakky

I agree there are limitations with MTM. What you accept or not is up to you. Everyone is dressing for others in some degree. Not sure. Best to reach out to him and check I haven't had much made by B&Tailor recently with Joe as I was using other options he recommended. I have no doubt he can deliver you the B&Tailor aesthetic if that's your thing.- nakky

He's made my wife some stuff (suit, jacket, pants and a polo coat) and they are amazing. Don't think Joe uses B&Tailor for much anymore. What's the price range for TF MTM?- nakky

The darts are angling inwards when they should be straight usually indicates that there is a balance problem A Neapolitan cut with English style quarters? Very strange. Higher rise trousers would work better. Hard to get a read if the jacket is too long. Drop Joe an email at joe.ha(at)thefinerycompany.com.au - I do not have any recent suiting orders to be able to provide an accurate price guide. Will depend a lot on your cloth choice. Don't think there is a lot of options at that price range for quality bespoke. Either increase your price range or drop down to MTM. If you are willing to go up, I would reach out to Joe @ TheFineryCompany, Leng Bespoke and Bijan (all in Sydney) in that order. I've had many suits made by Joe...- nakky

The main difference I see between the finery company mtm and the rest is the styling. I prefer the classic look over the overly fitted ones from Patrick and the like Quality between the two will also be much different. A lot more handwork goes into the Bntsilor made mtm as far as I have seen...- nakky

Joe is in the conservative business dress, with his own place opening up in the next few weeks. Karl I believe operates out of his home in the north. All by appointment only, Oscar Hunt/Suit Shop would be a budget conscious choice. Not saying that TFC is expensive, its just above their price for a lot more...- nakky
