RM Williams Boots - Everything You Wanted to Know

I had some squeaky shank issues with my comfort yearlings and my cobbler told me to buy the leather soled ones in the future. He said leather is more durable than the synthetic and that it breathes easier as it’s a natural material which helps for overheating feet etc. (I do find my feet get...

RM Williams Boots - Everything You Wanted to Know

Does anyone know if the comfort craftsman will stretch out in the toe box area a bit? I recently purchased an old stock craftman in whiskey in a 6.5 G and it feels good everywhere except I can feel my toes touching the sides a bit (I have long toes). I have a yearling in 7 G which was slightly...

RM Williams Boots - Everything You Wanted to Know

Just scratched the top of my yearlings. I have the rm Williams conditioner at home. Will that suffice? Anyone have tips for scratches?

RM Williams Boots - Everything You Wanted to Know

The cobbler says it's the shank that's loose. That it's a design flaw because of the bend angle. He says the best solution is to put 3 nails on either side. He'll do it and the other shoe for 15$ and they'll be ready in a week. I just went ahead and had him do it. Haven't heard back from RM yet...

RM Williams Boots - Everything You Wanted to Know

I'm really thinking it's the glue Oh I didn't think about the shank. Really it's stressing me out knowing that it'll be repaired by an outside party when they're brand new shoes. I emailed them and I'll see what they say. It really sucks because I ordered from nungar to save a bit of money and...

RM Williams Boots - Everything You Wanted to Know

Thanks. I just emailed them both a little video of the issue. It really sucks because they are otherwise amazingly comfortable. But I can't be slithering around the office trying not to draw attention to the weird noise my boot is making. I'll see what they say, but I feel like it's going to be...

RM Williams Boots - Everything You Wanted to Know

So my brand new yearlings are defective. Second time I've worn them and I noticed one foot was making a popping/clicking noise all day. Finally figured out that when I push on the sole right before the heel it makes that noise so I'm assuming the comfort sole is not glued on properly. I live in...

RM Williams Boots - Everything You Wanted to Know

Best way to care for the boots? Should I order the rm Williams conditioner or is there another product that works as well? How often do I have to apply some sort of conditioner?

RM Williams Boots - Everything You Wanted to Know

Finally received my comfort yearlings!! They are amazing quality and extremely comfortable. I ordered them from nungar and it took a month and a half. I have to say he provides terrible customer service. Never gave a tracking number; even after me emailing a few times. And he charged more for...

RM Williams Boots - Everything You Wanted to Know

Thanks! I'm very excited lol. I tend to buy too narrow as well, so I'm hoping these are fine!! They are a men's shoe after all. I did some recon and called the store and they said the yearling actually doesn't fit that much more narrow than the craftsman. Good luck with your purchase. If they...

RM Williams Boots - Everything You Wanted to Know

I just ordered my MTO from nungar. Haven't received anything yet, but seems he's up and running. I'm sure you could get comfort sole on whatever style you want. Nungar was communicating prior to order and haven't heard anything back since. Customer service doesn't seem like his forte. But he's...

How do you find the fit of the yearling? Did you need to size up?

RM Williams Boots - Everything You Wanted to Know

Thanks for the info!! Does anyone have any info on fit? I'm dying for a pair of the yearling with block heel but I'm nervous about the narrow fit. I'm a woman so I know the g regular width will be fine for my foot. It's more the toe box area I'm nervous about as I have long toes. I have a narrow...
