I’ve owned all three soles on AE or Alden’s. Just wanted to say that Dainite soles can be extremely slick when wet on smooth tile from my experience. Leather soles have held up fine in rain, I think with the size of shoe roatation as long as they’re drying out completely it’s a non issue.- Penny_pants

Double Alden kind of day. Wearing my natty cxl tankers from union made. Ran by Ealdwine to kill some time. Great guys, great shoes, great shop I'm sure thats all been said already though. Ended up picking up the Mocha Monks, wearing them to dinner tonight. Ultra comfortable.- Penny_pants

Got two size 36 Doyle’s for sale. Both work 10-15 times. Walnut duck canvas 12oz, other is caramel I believe. Edit... somehow forgot price 90$ shipped priority on either one in conus- Penny_pants

Haven’t posted in a while but picked these Mercer Streets in olive. So far so good. They do seem to walk a little quieter on hardwood which is a nice plus around the office- Penny_pants

Lots of great calf pics lately , cigar caps gorgeous too. Dark brown Regina grain today, and looks like my #8 should be back from AH One shoes had the eyelets,speed hooks switched to brass !- Penny_pants

Maiden voyage of snuff Adom from AOC, leaves are finally falling. Pretty much the best thing about shell is that polish is rarely needed, just brush away while watching some tv, and it’ll be gone in no time- Penny_pants

If your ok with buttons instead of a zipper, Valstar makes a gorgeous one in both chocolate and butterscotch. Collar is sorta in-between the two also.- Penny_pants
