    The Uniqlo Thread

Same sentiments as expressed in earlier posts, the mainline Uniqlo is indeed improving in a lot of aspects, it is generally good for those who haven't seen it, standard Uniqlo quality. Sadly, even as a fan of the U line, I feel that this season is the weakest, even if they say that the context...

I hope this one is a wide fit tapered cut of the U selvedge jeans, that would be great!

I think going Large is good for this one, I actually size up for mine since I like it a bit relaxed but also not too loose. :)

The first jacket I think is a double facewool jersey one, might be similar to last year's material but in a 3 button, low gorge lapel type (or if it's the top image, it might be the collarless fleece cardigan? both look good). There's something in it that's interesting. And yeah, the pants have...

Thanks for this one, these guys from Uomo Magazine always give better previews. That full zip driver knit is indeed interesting. I hope the selvedge is a wide-fit tapered one this time around. Looking at it again, it may still be worth checking out once the line-up is out, even if its more of...

I feel the same way, actually, but also good that there isn't much pressure to buy a lot and only what we truly want or need. U has been stable in terms of its look, same with +J, so JWA gives a little pop somehow. Surprisingly got a bit excited with this new JWA season (even if I was usually...

Tried these, they fit me like a regular straight fit pants TTS.

I also noticed something weird for the +J suit jackets, the US version has front darts, while the Asian versions have none. I wonder why. Left is from the US, Right is from Japan website, even the model fits differ. From my experience fitting without the front darts, there's like a weird excess...

If your legs are on the slimmer side then I think a size down is alright, there's a bit of material to let out a bit.

In my opinion, this is TTS with the waist fitting exactly for me with a little allowance, as the leg also tapers down the hem; sizing up is actually a good option too if you want a more loose fit like U.

Thank you! Hope it helps in your selection. I'm wearing the polo atm and enjoy it's relaxed fit TTS. I tried it also one size up and it can still work if you're into oversized. They didn't mention if it was machine washable but just recommended to use wool/silk detergent. I usually just wash...

Here’s some thoughts and fit pics on +J SS21 as it released today where I am, actually not much hype in Vietnam so I had some time to look through: Outerwear I didn’t try much except for the oversized military blouson, oversized wool-linen jacket, wool tailored jackets and the short parka. The...

I got that one, the Oversized Shirt Blouson. It is indeed a bit pricy, but so far the quality for me is good. It's the same poplin used for the rest of the shirting, maybe the details of pockets and chords added to the cost. It's pretty substantial fabric but can get wrinkled as any shirt...
