Thank you for all the feedback on the Salomon shoes. I get that the "training shoe" style is less and less cool and a pair of white sole brogues is in fashion. In terms of "EG allied" footwear I never could pull off the vans the first time they were cool, but the new EG Doc Martens replaced...

The head band is a buff; the glasses are reflectacles; The EG shirt (with nice mother of pearl blouse style buttons) was $70 'very good' condition on Rakuten; The pants are black EG fatigues (that make anything casual or even semi formal look strong and put together) from BlkBlu for $120; Shoes...

Do you tend to wear a belt with EG pants? With the tightening details, they almost beg to be worn beltless. Also, EG doesn't actually sell belts, which may be a hint?

Its tempting to get something fun or a pattern, but nothing will make the rest of your wardrobe look better than an EG jacket in a basic color.

I have a question about the white embroidered camp shirts: you are still supposed to wear a white undershirt with them?

funcri Don't most people use the functional details in the clothes? Ground/Fatigue/Willy Post all have tighteners. Does anyone walk around with a pencil in their workshirt?

Yeah, they are snug, but also, quite sexy. While we are giving out advice: one person said that Chambray fabric is 'hard to style' and he is right. The Chambray Ground Pants are amazing, but they don't look good with black sneakers that should look ok with just about everything.

I had to get it as well. the thing with it is: its versatile, yet also you can't exactly wear it a lot because its so distinctive.

How tall are you? Because its funny you say that. I am a 6foot, size medium person, but for some reason (wearing it over a baselayer and oxford) I got a large Baker Jacket and I just tried it on only tshirt, and the sleaves are just a hair longer than my medium Loiter.
