    I got a response from Reka @ Vass Sales ([email protected]) few months back when I enquired. They had limited supplies of Color 8 and Dark Brown Horween but only enough for shoes and not enough for a pair of boots.

    Cross-post from C&J thread. Cardigan 4s; originally in Dark Brown Shell. Here is how they look now. Fair amount of color variation based on lighting. Love the olive undertones in shade and indoors.

    Whiskey Wingtip Wednesday. Non-Alden, so posting here ;) Rancourt Natural Shell Longwings. Over time the right shoe is becoming closer to Whiskey. The Left shoe is still markedly lighter and closer to original natural color.

    Not sure. One reason might be due to the indoor sunlight in my photos. Other reason might be these were fresh out of the box, as I mentioned above. Few wears and sunlight might lighten the color closer to what @jischwar posted above.

    Very nice pair of boots. Love the Norwegese stitching. Here a few pictures of my recent Walnut (Museum) + Brown Suede Valways (on F Last), straight out of the box. The Walnut color on these seems slightly darker. Guessing, few wears and sunlight might bring them closer in color to your pair.
