٭٭٭ No Man Walks Alone - Official Affiliate Thread ٭٭٭ (a.k.a. I shouldn't have slept on it)

Any word on whether or not the brown Clint will see a restock in the upcoming year?

Talking stocks, trading, and investing in general

Looks like reddit is rotating from GME to silver. Curious how the two will play out over the next week. For me I have a year in cash, everything else in equities. I should probably move more into equities though.

٭٭٭ No Man Walks Alone - Official Affiliate Thread ٭٭٭ (a.k.a. I shouldn't have slept on it)

Just sitting here scrolling through the archive sale again...testing the limits of my endurance... As an aside, I know the showroom in NYC is closed now. In the hazy times post-COVID, when it opens again, is it possible to go and try certain items on?

Alright, gonna take a deep breath and walk away from these dealz - I came in here aimin' just for the following: a dark red wool sweater, a beanie, and the Traveler coat. Missed them all, but I can wait. It's my first archive sale and these things go fast!

    The Official Ramen Thread (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

I remember going to Mu Ramen with an inadvisably large group of friends a few years ago - we ended up waiting two hours before getting seated. The ramen was really good though, but I could never muster up the fortitude to return after that. These days I've been going to my local neighborhood...

    Video Games

I was pretty intensely on the hunt a couple of weeks ago, but at this point I figure I'd just wait for it to become widely available next year. The only game on it that I'm interested in atm is Demon's Souls, which I already played on the PS3.

Random Fashion Thoughts (Part 3: Style farmer strikes back) - our general discussion thread

In my experience (software engineer), while the industry likes to say it doesn't matter, it does matter. I'm sure it doesn't matter as much as other industries such as finance, but I do notice that in NYC, an awful lot of people working/interning at top firms seem to come from similarly ranked...

    The Official Dieworkwear Appreciation Thread

When I was still a student, I felt very self conscious of wearing college stuff outside of the confines of campus, so I didn't get any of the commemorative merch when I graduated. I regretted it a couple of years afterwards. Going to the J Press by Grand Central and seeing that my school was the...

What do you all think of this leather jacket fit?

DR's do have a bit of a reputation of being the edgier type of jacket but the style itself has become very diluted these days - I'd say it's the most common style of leather jacket I see around. I'd agree with earlier suggestions of looking at lots and lots of pictures of leather jackets and...

    Where's your diploma?

Mine's back at my parents' place. Now that I think about it though whenever I go to the dentist I do see their various diplomas all over the place. Didn't realize that it could be a requirement of the office.

What are you drinking right now?

Drank some Mellow Corn. Surprisingly difficult to find out in NYC but was very excited when I saw the canary yellow label.

What do you all think of this leather jacket fit?

Hey - I was also searching for a leather jacket a while back. I'd like to second FlyingHorker's recommendation of The Fedora Lounge, the folks there are very knowledgeable about leather though IIRC they do have a bent towards slightly more vintage cuts and styles. ASOS is not particularly known...

How did Covid-19 impact your personal style?

For me, Covid increased my interest in clothes - I suppose being stuck at home all day with nothing to do other than log on to my computer and work made me long for some more escapism in my life. At my workplace very few people turn on the camera in meetings, so I'm not sure what they're wearing...

Goin back and listening to some of my dad's favorite songs. Pretty nostalgic stuff.
