That's where you are wrong. Yes customers should ask for why shirt isn't made right everytime. If we put pricing as the base, then be big enough as uniqlo to sell rtw and dont call yourself a bespoke service. You see, the thinking of pricing comes first kills the industry because all the younger...

T Haha Then they are not worthy for their name. It is part of the learning curve, and when I say go back, I don’t mean to alter anything. A good tailor should be able to let you know what is right and what is wrong in term of classic menswear and the reason why they are doing it that way.

arghhhh buttoned and unbuttoned collar? dont know if the shirt has been washed at least twice as cotton shrink quite a bit. when the shirt is untucked, it seems quite ok (collar width or angle might have some issues or maybe its just his natural posture). i mean one can get a so called "fit"...

The idea is not to send them fabric but to pay extra to have them make you something to fit upon ur arrival. You might as well just do one suit first and allow the tailor to finish the rest if first one is good and have them send you the rest once finished. In term of measurements, try to...

i guess the direction you are heading is probably gonna waste fabrics. for... 1. let alone pricing, time vs quality doesnt make much sense, because you are better off buying RTW . 2. none of the tailors like doing cmt, doesnt matter how they up charge on the fabric (thats a very long chat), but...

If you have a somewhat model body shape, you might as well just save the trouble and go suit supply and do alterations?

i actually have a really good history with browns. but i cant say a tailor is good because they made decent suits in the past right? i am just saying what i have seen in various forums in recent days, and in hope, the tailors can make improvements. i mean if Chan made a mess, people would say...

Ariston, extra high lapel, messy pants... and not to mention the extra edge lining on unlined jacket ... that pretty much sums it up for brown’s sugar house style. @chobochobo and what's your say on the suit?

    The Hong Kong Tailors Thread

i think it would be fair, if the result is out and let us know/say if the suit is worth 17k? i mean at the end, if service is good, you get what you want, everyone around you think your suit looks great, and make you feel great, then yea, definitely worth the price! and just out of curiosity...

    The Hong Kong Tailors Thread

Sorry mate. no idea what you are asking... let say if WW C. sells REDA 3-piece with extra vest and shirt at 17k, it would definitely be a deal or even in gordon Y or even in number of tailors... so the real question is... let alone the price tag, are you happy with the result? is the suit any good?

for the details, maybe you should ask felix directly, and i have no intention to linger or hurt brown's. and i am very surprise you have so many surprises. before we get into an eternal discussion, let me just recap on what i intended to say. when one asks about if brown is on par with dream...

    The Hong Kong Tailors Thread

based on brown's recent marketing strategy (recurring promotions in half canvas), they are more and more putting themselves the same level as the other two shops especially the make is dependent on which sifu you are getting to fit you. and when brown couple years ago, the make and fit are...

for what i know at the present time, brown is not on par with dream. and all i am saying if one thinks brown's is good, he might want to check out refinery and fascino for cheaper pricing with similar offering, because, i dont really see a big difference between those 3.
