Believe that is an old Kiton that I bought at a resale shop.

    Bespoke in Houston?

I use and like Steed as well, the MyTailor/Hemrajani/Divij Bespoke operation also comes through and is well-liked on the forum but they are probably more fairly characterized as MTM-plus. Got a couple shirts from them that are nice but didn't blow me away, but have heard that people get better...

Question about braces (suspenders in US English)

Trafalgar braces are perfectly sufficient for my needs and generally available secondhand in a range of solid, conservative colors on eBay for practically no money.

If I could only have one, it would be vintage Kouros, which I could happily wear every day.

nice! One I’ve always wanted to try but haven’t had the guts to pull the trigger on true blind. And I’m with you on smaller bottles, got more than I’ll ever use already... Truly wish more places did the PdN 1oz type bottlings, really a happy medium point.

honestly I’ve only had one bottle out of probably 10(?) vintage where I think there’s any chance it’s turned/gone off. (And all but a very few of my vintage purchases have been earlier versions of stuff I’ve smelled before in current form.) It’s a risk like any other but either I’ve gotten very...

As I have said here several times before, forgive my repetition, absolutely nothing wrong with spending whatever you can reasonably afford on modern niche if you love it. But personally I’ll put the $300 bucks Byredo or whoever wants to charge me into 2-3 bottles of vintage...

TF Ombré Leather 16 today, as always I somehow convinced myself that a second spray would be fine and then regretted it all afternoon, but it has settled in nicely by this point tonight. As always delightful stuff but good heavens it’s strong. And these are stingy decant bottle sprays!

Wore Caron Pour un Homme last night, always a nice one to revisit and one I wear too little. So straightforward but so well done. Rive Gauche PH today.

On the subject of orange blossoms, Habit Rouge EDC this evening. Habit rouge in all its variations remains one of the most wonderful things I’ve ever smelled. Another round of Lalique PH this morning, still enjoying it though the longevity isn’t outstanding.

EN is pretty linear/what you smell is what you get but it is a good smell! Solid longevity from my perspective though like many iso E heavy scents it can flicker in and out. Can get it for less than $30 (probably less than $25) from discounters.

Encre Noir today, every time I wear this I think "why don't I wear this more?" Just exceptionally good, is Sycomore "better," sure it is, but not by enough to bother with... :nest::stirpot:

Lalique PH ("Lion") today, saw it praised here and testers on ebay were $22 so why not. Have had it on for around an hour, very pleasant barbershop-adjacent woody-oriental fougere to my nose, exquisitely straightlaced and well-executed. Nice stuff at thrice the price. Fingers crossed...

Lapidus Pour Homme today after two days of PdN New York Intense. The PdN has debuted pretty darn high in my power rankings, really nice stuff with exceptional performance. Girlfriend likes it, always a plus.
