    I think most of ppl wear their shirt half size too small (that's my case too). I used to wear a 14.5 because that's my neck measurement but now I size up to 15 and feel much better because of the extra space around my neck.

    I ordered a jacket in Marling Evans wool linen herringbone fabric recently as well. The Color are much lighter than the RL one you want to replicate, and wear much warmer than you imagine (bad for someone lives in a sub tropical city).

    So this is something worthy of dissuasion, definitely harder to pull off than a dark color suit He's wearing a jacket in darker shade... Maybe should pair mine with khakis in lighter color, but it looks a bit dandy to me

    Probably not an outfit but still would like hear some advices - what will you wear with a grey odd wool silk linen jacket with herringbone pattern? It looks off here with a medium blue button down here. And khakis doesn't look right here as well.

    I see, I think shirt with high collar band are not that noticeable under a jacket That "vertical gorge" thing can be found in many vintage jackets from 1950s-1960s as well, so I think it's not a particularly "regional" thing Shown here: Vintage Brooks Brothers Herringbone from Newton Street...

    By cut away collar do you mean the very "vertical" gorge? I actually quite like it because it's quite unique in 2022.
