    The Official-ish DC Thread

I'm curious if any of you know of a good leather cleaner for leather jackets? Been looking off and on for a while but haven't committed to any. My usual dry cleaner mentioned they could send my leather jackets to a specialist but they said it can take a while with the person they work with. Is...

    The Rubinacci Thread.

Anyone have any experience with Rubinacci's loafers? I've been interested in the marphy for a while but having trouble telling if it's a shoe that'll last a while and be comfortable.

    J FitzPatrick Appreciation Thread

Picked up the Leavenworth in 9.5 US and it's pretty comfortable although slightly long. Fits much better with thicker socks. I probably could've fit in a 9 US though. Now I'm looking at the Puyallup and wondering how the NGT fits compared to the SEA. Any advice would be hugely appreciated!

    J FitzPatrick Appreciation Thread

This is probably a long shot, but was wondering how the Leavenworth compares in fit to the ghillie shoe Carlos Santos did for Herring. I believe that shoe was on CS' 160 last. I have them in 10US and while they're fairly comfortable they're also a tad too long. Also debating picking up the...

    Meermin Mallorca Shoes

Wondering what everyone thinks of the boot with the norvegese construction. Is it going to be decent? I've kinda wanted a shoe with norvegese construction for a while just because I enjoy the artistry in the stitching, but does Meermin make a true norvegese construction?

    Meermin Mallorca Shoes

Which has better quality and is more worth it? By your first sentence it sounds like you mean J Fitzpatrick is better.

    Andres Sendra apprecitation thread

Just wondering if anyone knows of or has seen shoes from Andres Sendra with different construction methods. Mainly just curious if they do Norwegian welt. Been hankering for a nice looking shoe with a very loud Norwegian welt, and I like the patinas on the Andres Sendras

    Meermin Mallorca Shoes

Ah, I do see them on the Saks off Fifth site. That's so odd, I hope this doesn't mean Carlos Santos quality has dropped? I know they have some lower end lines, but even those always seemed very nice.

    Meermin Mallorca Shoes

Wow when did this start happening? I've never seen Carlos Santos at Saks. Sometimes pretty bad looking Allen Edmonds and Mezlan, but never Carlos Santos.

    Meermin Mallorca Shoes

@Boulder thanks for that last post. Any idea what your ideal sizing would be in US sizing? My brannock device size is 9US and I typically get 42EU or 8UK for other sizing, but sometimes half a size bigger depending on the fit (or even a full size with some Allen Edmonds, oddly enough). I'm...

Paul Sargent (formerly Alfred Sargent) Appreciation Thread

I actually managed to pick these up in the last sale. They're very nice. I've worn them out a few times and they seem to be doing quite well so far. It feels like a much better boot than my balmorals from Meermin.

    Wildsmith shoe brand resurrected

I loved that shoe but mine had a defect in the straps so ended up returning it. They looked quite nice in person!

Skoaktiebolaget – Enzo Bonafé, Saint Crispin’s, Löf & Tung

Any chance Black Friday will last the rest of the year?

    Wildsmith shoe brand resurrected

I think they're made at Alfred Sargent. The new line starting next year I'm not sure about, but I'd guess it's still Alfred Sargent as well.

    Wildsmith shoe brand resurrected

It started today. Picked up the navy calf and suede monk shoes and was going to get the mahogany Piccadilly as well, but all they have left is narrow. If there are any shoes you're considering would go for it soon as they're nearly out of stock.

Paul Sargent (formerly Alfred Sargent) Appreciation Thread

Herring seems to have discontinued the Moriarty boot, but I was wondering if anyone in this thread might have an idea of where I could pick up a pair still, or if Alfred Sargent has created any other boots with a similar look.

    Wildsmith shoe brand resurrected

Looks like Wildsmith is showing up on Herring for Black Friday and supposedly a new line of Wildsmith is coming out next year exclusive to Herring.

Are Italian shoes not very good?

Noticed that Martegani has been showing up on Gilt which led me to this thread. First time posting on here, but I too am wondering how the quality is these days (I've been rather dubious about Gilt in general, but very interested in Marteganis in the past).
