    The grey sport coat is better paired with a contrasting color in trousers. Navy is a good choice, since it is the opposite of the classic navy jacket and grey trousers.

    My usual jeans are Wrangler 13MWZs. Not particularly wide leg, but they do have a good rise. And the price is unbeatable.

    Jeans differ substantially. They are cut differently. Trousers are cut so as to have a crease in the front. Jeans are cut to be flat across the front. If you cut denim to the same pattern as trousers, using your usual measurements, you will get denim trousers. Personally, I wouldn't use Luxire...

    No particular name I am aware of. It has a camp collar, which is not hard to find. But the large double pockets are the difficult part. I have found some on Ebay. Maybe someone else knows where new versions can be had.

    I spend a great deal more time sitting than standing. So I prefer my trousers to have some break. They are more comfortable and look better when seated. And I think they also look better when standing. My preference is to have the hem covering the top half of my shoelaces.

    This coat strikes me as having a contradiction between function and color. This type of coat is for warmth, primarily for fall and winter wear. But the color says spring and summer. It isn't something I would wear.

    The difference between the 32 and the 34 inseam is insignificant with respect to the width of the hem. Save yourself the bother of getting the waist altered and go with the 34. I wouldn't get them tapered. Just get them hemmed to your length.

    Oops! Either you or the lesson was wrong. Patches on a jacket are used for effect, not affect. If someone is seeking to draw attention, they are doing something for effect.

    My preference would be for a looser fit. For one, the sleeves are too short. It is also going to be too tight when zipped.

    I'm 67. I like the Wrangler 13MWZ Cowboy Cut. They have a higher rise than any other brand I have tried, including Levis. Not stretchy, but they look good and they are comfortable.

    I agree to some extent. I have an old Valentino jacket I got from father-in-law that is about 2 sizes too big. I wouldn't think of getting it altered and wear it at home.
