Not sure if this will post correctly. I have a pair of 9 mo old adlen chukas, color 8. there is now a noticble difference in hues between the two shoes. Solution? Polish the lighter pair with color 8 wax? Or use a brgandy cream? AE? Melotian? Thanks for any thoughts. Lee- BLM2

I have the LWB and Chukkas (that I purchased at NYC Alden). I think these will make another casual/dress pair. I do not wear a suit very offent. I am usually in khakis. These will be perfect. Lee- BLM2

Question on pre orders. I put a deposit down ($200) at Alden NY for the six eylet chukka/boot, NST, commando sole that was posted here from thier IG post. I was tol probably six months. Any thing I should do, know from the ex[erts here? Thanks, Lee- BLM2

Another one of those questions regarding fit. I have Shell LWB in 11.5D which are very comfortable. I also have a pair of shell Chukkas, commando sole, which are 11.5E. They are also comfortable. 1. Is it normal to have to go from a D to an E when going from full leather soles to commando soles...- BLM2

My wife and I went to NY for a conference in early December. I took a pair of dust bucks and New Balance running shoes to wear. The dusty bucks did not work out. This is my first post on the Alden forum. We will see how it goes. I am having trouble posting a photo from my Mac Laptop. I can see the photo but when I use the "camera icon" the photo id greyed out. Any help would be appreciated. When I try to use the "mountain and sun" icon it asks for a URL...- BLM2
