The Tailors' Thread: Fit Feedback and Alteration Suggestions

@Wibby - I would definitely get a custom suit. With the amount of alterations that are needed for that suit, it probably will not look as great as you would like it. @webzeb - I would do the following: Take the shoulders in a touch. Open the seat, so it doesn't bunch as much in the back...

The Tailors' Thread: Fit Feedback and Alteration Suggestions

Bespoke is the process of draping a shell over you altering, configuring, each crevasse of your body making the pattern from scratch. This process could take a few months. (be careful a lot of places will say they are Bespoke when they are not, I am not allowed to say who they are.) Custom is...

@DonnyLee where are you located? - I know a few places that can turn around a custom tuxedo in a time sensitive manner for probably the same price that you currently paid.

The Tailors' Thread: Fit Feedback and Alteration Suggestions

@yyztraveler I would go Custom. MTM, Custom, and Bespoke are 3 completely different channels of menswear. Custom is reasonably price, probably less expensive than the SuSu suit you are currently wearing. Where are you located?

The Tailors' Thread: Fit Feedback and Alteration Suggestions

    - shoulders 18 inches | can come up a .25 on each side - chest 38 inches | I would add 2 pleats on the back of the shirt, then subtract a .50" total. - waist 37.5 inches | you have a lot of excess fabric in your waist/stomach area you could take an additional 1" total. - biceps 13 inches |...

congrats, first and foremost! ` I would say make that sure that all 3 pieces match before adding accessories because the last thing you want is the color palette to be all over the place. Once they are all match, go crazy with the accessories just make sure all of the metals match from the...

first and foremost there is no set rule to fashion, most important suggestion i would make is be comfortable. I wear many of trousers high waisted because the comfort level on my quads and it looks cleaner. The downside to wearing high waisted trousers if you're short (I am 6'3) is that you...

    Enzo Custom Clothiers NYC

Personally I would choose Scabal, Loro Piana, and Ermenegildo Zegna over Guabello. I have made a few suits out of Guabello wasn't the biggest fan. Loro Piana has a beautiful sheen, and the wool is 2-ply leaving you with a gorgeous drape. Ermenegildo Zenga Electa collection is perfect for a...
