Can confirm, broke out the green tweed today in Vancouver. Low teens (low 50s in freedom units) and rain gives me the chance to wear it before the “heat” returns (with apologies to our Texan brethren).

I have similar issues thanks to big thighs. I’ve always found the Guabello trousers to be the least forgiving (after the linens obviously) and snuggest fitting, so I’ve never been able to keep them.

Minor quibble, and I don’t know if it’s due to the dad bod or what, but the belt loop for the extended closure tends to fold the tab down at the top. As I said, pretty minor, though a slight taper on the tab itself or a loop with some slack might fix the issue.

I’d be interested in seeing an oatmeal-ish SC, but in a S/S blend as I tend towards darker colours in F/W (though picked up the Drago grey so that might be enough for me at this point).

Anyone know how long the CUSTOM code lasts? Want to put another order of shirts in, but I’m waiting on my last batch to see if I’ve finally solved my fit issues.

My green tweed (neo cut from last F/W) definitely has wider shoulders than my standard cut SCs from previous seasons, and it bugs me a bit every time I wear it. The rest of the body isn’t different by enough to be worrysome, though, so I couldn’t see myself sizing down (but with my belly, I’m...

I for one am glad. Wearing the grey flannel from this past F/W today. It’s comfy as **** and probably my best fitting SC.

Surprised to see how in stock that coat is. Is SF’s anti-grey-coat attitude shining through again? I know I’m definitely looking forward to seeing that package delivered.

I’ve found some inconsistencies between wool pants (though often within acceptable ranges). Cotton chinos, on the other hand, have all been tighter through the waist/hips/thighs, to the point where I’ve had to send some back despite being “my size”. And I’m a chunky bugger, so I can’t go higher...

Anyone in the 44R/L club try the polos out? Based on everyone else’s discussion, I’m guessing we’d need an XL or XXL? Though it looks like the shoulder measurement is quite a bit larger than on the SC, so I don’t know how well that would translate.

It’s snowing in Vancouver again today. How do you guys deal with this **** every year? On the plus side, I’m getting lots of use out of my topcoat.

Grabbed the green, but will be returning it, sadly. Fits a fair bit slimmer than my flannel/tweed/linen SCs, especially in the sleeves, and also is brown under the fluorescent and LED lights in my house. Even in sunlight it’s not nearly as green as last years tweed, which had plenty of brown flecks.

We do black tie around here? I’d imagine your best Patagonia would probably be sufficient.

I’m definitely interested to hear your experience. I’m a 10-10.5 E on the AE 65 last, but balked at trying out the shoes due to what I assume would be a width issue. Everything else in my closet is Spier, might as well go all in if I can.
