May as well throw this up then... FW15 Babycat harrington unworn, size 48 Also, while I haven’t listened to the album yet, that cover is trash. No idea how that made it past the brainstorming process.

Kind of new to the reselling game, at least internationally, and am wondering if I could get some advice on how to handle, for example, payments and shipping, etc.

    I’m a 43, but I don’t have any footwear for sale, sadly.

I’m basically a medium across the board: 39 in shirts, 48 in everything else (with the odd 50 from items that were legitimately small in size, like the earlier seasons).

Thinking of downsizing my SLP collection. Have a lot of stuff that’s nearly new, even unworn. Silk shirts, some outerwear, blazers, and a couple jeans. Haven’t posted anything yet, but thought I’d give you guys first crack at it. Plus I hate dealing with the punters on FB lol.

Very happy with my SS16 L17. I’d say that’s the best iteration.

Of course! I was mostly asking out of curiosity. I haven’t actually bought anything from SLP since Hedi left.

Anyone handled the “Theo” boots, which seem to be a slightly tweaked iteration of the Santiags, in person? It’s hard to get a feel for them from the pictures. The shaft looks wide on Matches...

@zebidee Damn nice collection! That rider bucket bag... no words for how great that piece is. Congrats!

My go-to suggestion for people is Makthaverskan, a melodic punk group from Gothenburg. Definitely worth checking out. They deserve more hype.

Great collection @zebidee! We share a lot of the same pieces! An idea struck me: what if Hedi continued what he started at SLP, by designing a core collection rooted in unisex appeal. Céline already hews closer to a traditionally masculine wardrobe, and Hedi has always had a stronger focus on...

Great points, and nice suggestion! I really love that book! I agree, it definitely towers over the rest of his work. It’s too bad he was such a virulent anti-semite—it certainly muddies his legacy.

I read that piece yesterday, and I can sympathize with the author’s view. I thought she made some fair points. After obsessing over the SLP aesthetique for the last four years, I, too, would like to see Hedi move in a slightly different direction at Céline—expanding his design template and...

The name change was done in order to bring it back in line with Yves’s original RTW label, Saint Laurent Rive Gauche. Most of the people who got upset were clueless about the history of the brand.

Great news. Finally something else to discuss in this thread. I don’t see Hedi going full sports luxe by any stretch. I feel like that’s already on the wane, at least in the fashion zeitgeist. There will certainly be an expanded e-commerce presence—that was confirmed in the release. Bernard...

I like the hunter backpack in black a lot, much better than the standard one. I was considering getting it, though it is a bit pricey for a canvas bag. I’d probably put the money towards one in leather, though they can get pretty up there in terms of price. Among fashion brands, at least in...

I’d still go for the classic over the blood luster, but that’s me. If it was distressed through wear, I’d agree, otherwise I generally dislike designer-distressed leathers. I’d rather age mine naturally through use. Yes, it’s a pre-distressed model. They’ve been doing a lot of those since Hedi...

LOL. I don’t mind that version, but if you don’t have the standard L17 already, I’d definitely go with that. Purposefully distressed leather jackets are not my favorite, and the stars—though minor—will limit its versatility.

I have the SS16 lamb. I find that it doesn’t stretch much at all, but rather it conforms to your contours. That’s my experience anyway. I wouldn’t purposely size down. Can’t comment on All Saints sizing, but if you’re spending around €3500/$5K on a jacket, I’d try it on first. Try both if you’re...
