Does anyone know how long after the US reductions the UK reductions will kick in at Mr Porter?

    Sandro Paris experiences, discussion

Yes you're right, it would be a bit tricky to layer. Can comfortably wear a mid-weight turtleneck underneath though. Anything more wouldn't feel right, at least in my case YMMV. Hope that helps!

    Sandro Paris experiences, discussion

I bought the suede jacket in size S which is TTS for me. I normally wear S/46IT/36UK. One thing - I can zip up only just about but then I've got the holiday pounds on, and from the shoulders it's a perfect fit. I don't plan to zip it anyway. I also have their jeans as well which are TTS but in...

I'm really enjoying the EG button shawl I got recently, gets you to be creative as well. Thank you forum for introducing me to it! Thinking of getting a Bedford jacket now, could someone advise on sizing, and how they compare to other brands? For reference, I wear a small/EU46/UK36/JapanSize2 in...

    ***The Official eBay / B&S / eShop Someone-Should-Kop Thread***

For the summer folks: another Barena jacket size EU52, 50% off only so not an earth shattering deal, but a great summer colour I think, would cop it if it were in my size. http://www.trunkclothiers.com/barena-torceo-tamiso-jacket-light-blue They haven't actually listed the item in any...

Hi shortlefty, if you're UK38 then an EU46 in Barena's Toppa cut wouldn't fit. I'm UK36/EU46 and my Toppa jacket is the slimmest jacket I own, I could wear a Toppa 48 easily. However the Slanega cut is their most relaxed fit, so a 46 in that one would fit you like a slim jacket. I've found their...

Such a good deal on a Barena jacket: . http://18montrose.com/collections/sale-mens/products/barena-toppa-3-button-wool-blazer-in-navy-65barmm1277786 Toppa is their slimmest fit from my experience.

    Engineered Garments FW 16

Hi guys, I loved SF's article on capes and Tabarrificio Veneto, and one tab led to another, I think EG's button shawl would be a more accessible gateway to this world and be much more versatile. I haven't been able to find one though, except in the women's section on a website. So my question...

I'm a size 41 and got a size 41 which fit OK with thick socks and don't chafe the heels. Could probably go down half a size with no problem (though I don't think they do half sizes?) Not sure if a full size down would remain comfortable. They're quite stiff so I'm hoping to break them in.

Trunk Clothiers are now up to 50% off. Finally nabbed the Barena jacket I was eyeing at a good price. http://www.trunkclothiers.com/ There are a few Engineered Garments pieces for those interested. Always fascinated by their popularity in the forum but still haven't bitten the bullet.

    Ethics in Fashion

There's a short video on youtube where Patagonia discuss ethics and bringing manufacturing transparency to customers, and they go on to discuss problems in their own supply chain and what they're trying to do about it. It's quite refreshing, though mind you the transparency approach is like a...

    The Kooples Quality and Opinions

I've found Kooples to be good quality in general. If you're on a low budget for RTW suits, then I'd especially recommend them for 5'6"-5'7" thin guys like me - their suits fit me really well as they're supposed to be super short but end up normal sized on shorter frames, so I didn't need to get...

    Boglioli Jackets

Hi folks, I spent too much time humming and haa-ing over a particular Boglioli K jacket from the boglioli online store. They have finally taken the winter section off their website and now that I've lost the opportunity to buy I've realised should have just gone for it. Does anyone know what...
