Is a polyester/rayon suit a bad idea?
If you are only going to wear it a couple of times, it's ok. Poly/Rayon looks ok on the surface, but they don't breathe. In life you get what you pay for, and that is definitely true with suits/sport coats. if you look online or elsewhere, you will see nice looking suits/sport coats very cheap...- Todd Victorson

I understand you may not be at a point where you can afford a hart schaffner marx or Brioni suit, BUT, you don't want to show up for an interview in a cheap poly/rayon suit. They don't breathe, you will be uncomfortable, and you want to put your best foot forward especially in an interview...- Todd Victorson

I'm quite a bit older than you, but far from conservative. I'm into the blues, periwinkles, and most of all purple. I also love teal blue.
