    Custom White's Boots ... Thoughts?

Double leather soles on my boots, and the stitches were left on the surface.

Damn fine overcoats. Thought there was a gif posted. The frowning picture loaded first, then the smiling one. Had flashbacks about a gif from a few years ago. Was it an eyebrow raised then lowered?

Any feedback about how the Vibram and Dainite soles feel compared to the JR leather soles? More than two years ago I bought (from NMWA) a pair of the oxblood u-cap wingtips, P2 last, Goyser welt with double JR soles. Depends on how you dress, but I find them appropriate for almost any...

    Custom White's Boots ... Thoughts?

Perhaps there’s a way to order that detail now? Maybe @sambam could tell us? Funny how one detail can make a huge difference. The design flows better. I’ll add that, to me, this makes a difference on service boot models from all makers. Only my opinion, of course. *Edited for clarity*

    Custom White's Boots ... Thoughts?

If prices eventually have to go up because of wages or materials, I think customers will understand. My Packers help me deal with leg and foot issues that made ill-fitting footwear impossible to deal with.

    Custom White's Boots ... Thoughts?

My boots definitely shortened as they formed to my feet. New boots can feel very weird. I remember reading one of the older cowboy boot makers saying that walking in new boots can feel like trying to walk while wearing skis.

    Custom White's Boots ... Thoughts?

Hello, I haven’t posted here in a loooong time but wanted to chime in on this sizing issue. Buying my White’s gave me the first footwear that ever fit me properly, and I would advise you to not give up on these boots. Mine fit incredibly well from the beginning but I remember thinking that...

All Styles Considered: An Arts Magazine from StyleForum Users

Very excited to see what's in the magazine! I ordered multiple issues so I should get mine soon. I'm looking forward to seeing the theme for the second issue.

Looks amazing! Thanks again to everyone for all the hard work putting this together.

    Custom White's Boots ... Thoughts?

I have flat feet, of the flexible arch variety. The arch support in my Packer boots is perfect and never bothered me. I was measured by a dealer and sent in measurements, so I can't comment on stock fit. My boots have been scratched by barbed wire, drenched in rain, and damn near frozen with...

Adding to this statement, I know my oxblood U-cap looks more sleek when worn than it does in most pictures. I'd say the best representation of the shape is the picture at the end, which shows the sole and front view combined. Hope that all makes sense. Now I'm interested in the Budapest last...

Over the Shoulders, Under the Knees: Long Coats

I enjoyed this too. My two long coats have been thrift finds.

Thanks to Greg for the sizing advice on my shoe purchase! The Vass U-cap has been very comfortable so far. I've never gotten along with footwear very well, but the New Peter last fits like a dream. The snug heel cup provides a lot of support. Normally I'd be trying out insoles too, but I...

    Custom White's Boots ... Thoughts?

These are awesome! What leather? My pair are very similar, with brass eyelets though. They've served me well and taken a beating, yet keep on going and are as comfortable as ever.

    The OCBD collar roll thread

@Billax Thanks for the photographic comparison. I like Mercer the best, and have been meaning to get in touch with them for a while now. @ezlau Your Mercer shirt with the slimmed down cut looks very nice, I'll have to ask them about that as well.

    Cowboy boots

Bick 4 is what I've had the best results with. I apply it with my bare hand, let it soak in, brush, then lightly buff with an old sock. That should do the trick!

    MoneyWellSpent's Southern Trad Thread

Thanks to all who provided the information about Sid Mashburn, as I had become curious about that store recently as well. I was going to mention the Ivy-Style site, but see it has already been linked. I found that site looking for a review of the H. Freeman and Son MTM program. I didn't go...

AGJiffy's Wall Street Indiviudally Modified Conservative Business Dress Week Threak

I agree with this, and by saying this I'm not looking down of people. I didn't know what specific things I liked or didn't like about a suit or sport coat until I started to seek out the specific details. They either looked good or bad. And sometimes a pocket square shouts "look at me, look...

    Custom White's Boots ... Thoughts?

Big fan of Red Dog leather. It looks great here. If you find you have to scrub a lot to get dirt off when you are in dry conditions, you could try the Obenaufs oil instead of the Heavy Duty LP. Of course this is just my opinion, but I like it better on my boots. I found I was scrubbing my...

I want to publicly thank all those involved for putting this together. Thank you!!! As an artist, it can be difficult to get work seen, and most of the events around my area have fees to participate in which are way over $100, most closer to $200. Add to that, they are outside when it's high...
