    Hi guys, I've just received a pair of Knightsbridge oxfords from Herring and unboxed it. And I am so disappointed I have no words. The edges are slightly uneven (I mean the seam across the toe), I can see some glue (?), and the "black polished" leather looks almost exactly like my rainboots'...

     It looks like a resole has been previously done on the pair. Does look like a good job has been done. The 'r' stamped in the boot suggests it was originally a Rubber sole. I might be wrong but I am not sure if the Pennine has ever been made with a leather sole.

    Although there is no way to work out possible duty, there is an option on their site to use Royal Mail. Duty will vary when using couriers but do find that using the postal service avoids custom charges.
