Not sure how common knowledge this is, but it appears that AE is extending the sale of 'off chart' shoes and boots until further notice. So if anyone has an awkward size that AE seems to be phasing out...it might be a good time to check out the Shoe Bank now and maybe ask a SA or manager, at...- gjdgjdgjd

What sayeth the forum regarding buying/restoring "old" AE shoes? I have a chance to buy some merlot Bradley's. Shoe pic request - Grey Nuemok 2.0's in the wild. They look great in the limited pics I have found via Google. A pair has just became available in my size. I like the fact that the broguing details are highlighted without the leather color itself being too gaudy.- gjdgjdgjd

I had the opposite problem. My walnut McGregor's were quite a lot lighter than any walnut belt I could find. My wife points out that in reality I am the only one that notices the difference. There does seem to be a large variation of shades for Walnut and Bourbon.- gjdgjdgjd

New Leeds 2.0 oxblood. Little tight on the sides being a 7.5D, but no 7E or 7.5E available. They look amazing in person. Only flaw I can find is the tongues are a little off.- gjdgjdgjd

I also returned my MacNeils in oxblood for the same missing color by the tongue and side of the wing. Also had one of the wing tips loose and sewn on cock-eyed.- gjdgjdgjd
