I am also a 38R and the blouson in 38 was just a tad too small for me. it fit but no room for anything and it just did not look as good as it could be. I give it to my dad who is a few inches shorter then me and it looked better on him. I just don't think this jacket should be very fit.- silverprelude

for me, the TS fit is better then both Gustin and Epaulet. In Gustin, I have to wear classic M and while the chest fits fine, the waist is loose. In Epaulet, the chest is a little tight in M. TS in size 40 is just right in both chest and waist.- silverprelude

my came with rubber sole, the boots are still sitting in my office, my first ever pair of Chelsea, not sure if I like that style, all of my other shoes/boots are laced. the build quality seems on par with other Meermins that I have. although there are some bumps or unevenness in the foot bed...- silverprelude
