Hi, I've heard great things about Benjamin Sartorial suits; unfortunately, the size & color I'm looking for aren't available at the moment. Any idea of when more color options for the Classico II model in 36R might be available online? I'm interested in navy especially. I would try the Nobile...

That is actually helpful. Is this from the Reddit AMA ? You could have just quoted that instead of wikipedia.

That or he's just not wasting his time explaining to you why information on the internet that is not supported by any source doesn't have a shred of credibility.

I'd be really intrigued to know if the mainline models now have the cardboard heel. The Neumok and McTavish are lower priced models ($300/$275 often on sale v. $385) so to an extent you might call it justifiable. I still wouldn't, but they could argue that's what you get for a lower price. On...

Definitely will not notice while wearing. It's on the inside of the shoe, and the brown is dark enough for it to not be noticeable from a distance anyway. I was more worried about the stitching coming undone, or the area being susceptible to much quicker wear than the rest of the shoe. The shoes...

I just got a pair of McClain for ridiculously cheap off the shoebank. The associate warned me when sending them that it had a few creases on the inside of the right shoe that I would have to see for myself to decide if I wanted to keep them. What do you all think ? Worth it for $120 ? I'm...

Got one of the last pair of boardroom (Jos A Banks Park Avenue) at the shoebank. $150. The crease on the right shoe sucks, but they're bound to get some anyway and they fit great.

Great, I will definitely keep them then. The second issue doesn't bother me at all, it's almost invisible when the shoe is tied. Out of curiosity, I would really like to know what caused it though. I've never seen anything like it and I tried to look for similar pictures online, to no avail.

Hey guys, first post - I credit this thread with convincing me to get some Allen Edmonds. I bought a pair of Dalton seconds and just received them, and since I'm not yet very knowledgeable on shoes I wanted to know if the two defects I spotted more or less immediately were worth worrying about...
