Clarks Desert Boots
Bushacres 2, Beeswax. The new ones on the left from Clarks (via Amazon) are considerably darker than the older pair I got 3-4 months ago at Nordstrom rack. I much prefer the color on the older pair (right), are they still available? Where and how can I get those instead? Thanks.- biggerandtaller

I appreciate the help but perhaps you missed the part where I said I've done this before. I'm only concerned about damaging the leather. The effectiveness of the method is not in question. Look it up. Will this damage my shoes or not? Thanks.- biggerandtaller

Suede boots in freezer for a day or two to get rid of smell. Will that damage the leather? The freezer thing has worked for me in the past with sneakers (the cold kills the bacteria that causes the smell). Ive edited the post. I won't be using it as an overcoat. That's for the pea coat. I'm getting this coat anyway because I really like it. The only issue is what color, given the navy or charcoal pea coat to follow.- biggerandtaller
