    ter1413: Thanks for the input. It's for an entry level staff position at a smaller accounting firm. Come to think of it, I may have to spend a little more on a decent shirt. For some reason, the sleeves on the shirts that I get from discount stores come way too short on my arms.

    Question about collared dress shirts: for an interview, I have a decent navy tailored suit. Am I OK with a cheap white spread collar shirt from a discount store, or is it worth it to drop $100 bucks on a nice shirt/tie combo? Will it be noticed?
