Sounds great. Looking forward to seeing the result. Thinking about doing an unconstructed coat with them similar to this:

@Monkeyface : The question was supposed to be asked in here in the extension of our talk about conservative business dress/business casual. Apologies if I confused you. I was just wondering how a Neapolitan suit with patch pockets would be received in London (e.g. Havana). Edit: with 4,5" lapels, what is the app...

@Monkeyface : How are patch pockets (not 3 ofc) look upon if it's solid navys and greys? And also, how about 10 cm lapels?

I work in IBD of an investment bank and almost everyone, even us analysts, wear ties everyday. Sounds odd that no one in London do so, when it's regarded the most formal city with regard to dress code in Europe.

It's only the sleeve length. This is taken from a country where centimeters is the standard. For some reason, they haven't corrected the image for the countries going my inches.

Many lawyers wear ties at their desks as well, so do mgmt. consultants. Not to forget investment bankers (M&A, ECM, DCM), whom are some of the most formally dressed. Many bankers such as those in sales & trading also wear ties when meeting clients, and often at their desks as well. This is...

If you have Dropbox, put them in the Public folder, right click, and choose "copy public link". If not, upload the picture to tinypic.com. Luxire mentioned somewhere that sending emails regarding orders generally slow down the turnaround time. But of course, it would work.

But will be just fine. Go with the one you'll use the most, going forward. I would go with the faux uni if I had to pick. I prefer navy though. Take a look at the York fit, much more appealing than the napoli, imo, unless your shoulders are pretty wide. The color is as dark as it gets.

Can anyone compare the colors of the two pale blue poplins, i.e. 2/100 and 140/2. On the web, 140/2 is lighter, but from the swatches I've received, the 140/2 is darker. Thanks.

I second that. But I can't see it being worn as a suit – except from at Pitti, maybe. And IMO, single breasted vests shouldn't have lapels.

Dissapointing suit offerings for Europe. Twice as many for US. Hope they'll update that – doesn't make sense. Edit: apparently, it's only some European countries – Netherlands and UK has plenty of options. Btw, if you don't know, you can "pretend" you're from UK, for instance, and then change...

Havana is 8,5 cm. As far as I remember, Sienna is a tad more narrow, probably 8-8,25 cm. Pretty sure Sienna has the most narrow lapels.

Has anyone made a collar similar to this? A little more spread than the English Spread, I guess – and medium lined, no fusing probably. Please educate me if I'm wrong.

Thanks, I appreciate your willingness to help. I've decided to send it back though. As I see it, a €699 suit, for me as a university student, has to be perfect, when I can go MTM for €850+ (full canvas, VBC fabrics) in my city. I'll probably try Sienna as I remember it as a bit more roomy in the...

The back is clean. A slight X-crease in inevitable though, IMO, if you want a slim fitting suit.

Got my La Spalla Blue Check in size 98. It's beautiful and the fabric is amazing – exactly what I've been looking for and the construction is fantastic compared to the price. I actually though La Spalla was skin fused as the half canvas suits from them are, but it's not. It is pretty much spot...
