    The Uniqlo Thread

is this a trend in the US? in Japan, there's been a gradual but noticable shift away from skinny and tight fits, to baggy and wide.

    The Uniqlo Thread

The new Airisms are out in Japan, so I stopped by my local Uniqlo to check it out. These ones are the new seamless ones. quite honestly they look cheap. The edges are not clean and look like they were cut by scissors

    The Uniqlo Thread

The Uniqlo ULTRA warm heattech just dropped here in Japan. Is it out in the US yet? http://www.uniqlo.com/jp/store/goods/174777 so far it is limited to just tights and long sleeve "under" shirts. Unlike the normal heattech and extra warm heattech which come in transparent zip lock bag...

    The Uniqlo Thread

hmm I've noticed this year, Uniqlo isn't offering any Shawl Cardigans. In the past they had cotton-linen blends, wool-acrylic-polyester ones, and collaboration ones. Are they out of style now?

although I've posted pictures of all of Uniqlo's bombers here.. I'm still undecided between the fake suede bomber and the Uniqlo U bombers. which do you guys like?

    The Uniqlo Thread

not sure how the women's bomber are like but the U bomber feels significantly different. Its hard to explain but its got a stiffer, heavier feeling. You are right, it does not have the sleeve pocket. Quite honestly, out of all the Uniqlo bombers, I actually liked the fake suede one the best. I...

    The Uniqlo Thread

I got a request from some one who wanted to know all the bombers being offered. So here they are from left to right. 1. Zara fake-suede bomber. It is much lighter than the other 3. no lining. good for early fall or late spring since its not warm. it's stretchy and drapes well. So far it is...

North Face McMurdo Parka 2 vs Gotham 2: which winter jacket looks more versatile? which looks better

Yes, the second one has two side pockets. one up closer to the rib, and another set behind the bottom pockets. both are fleece lined. Not sure about the first one, but I think it has just one pair.

North Face McMurdo Parka 2 vs Gotham 2: which winter jacket looks more versatile? which looks better

I'm thinking of a new winter jacket. I like the looks of the Canada Goose parkas, but refuse to spend over 700 USD on any kind of jacket. the McMurdo parka 2 and Gotham 2 are roughly the same price. Color options slightly different but thinking of either grey or red between these two which...

So i stopped by the Uniqlo next to my house (in Japan). And now there's like 4 bombers out now 1. The regular Nylon bomber 2. the Uniqlo U bomber 3. the Uniqlo U down bomber 4. The fake suede bomber the suede one is new and just came out. 3 colors, black, dark brown and tan. Wish they had...

    The Uniqlo Thread

Uniqlo U came out in Japan today, Doesn't seem that popular, but the stores only carry a certain amount. Only the ultra large ones carry the full line up. by the way, anyone here a fan of the Uniqlo Jogger Pants? what are your favorite types? the cotton ones? denim like? jersey? mirano rib?

anyone wear Steteco shorts outside? The US site seems to be limited to ones that look like boxers, but here in Japan there's a greater variety http://www.uniqlo.com/jp/store/feature/uq/stetecorelaco/men/ I've been wondering if its acceptable to wear them outside as a casual bottom, with a...

    The Uniqlo Thread

I didn't start wearing Uniqlo until 2013 when I moved to Japan. Does everyone else feel that the quality has been declining? stuff begins piling within a few months and I take care of my stuff well. Had a few shorts and sweatpants where the crotch wore out quickly and became nearly see through...

In Japan, Uniqlo MA-1 Bombers are out http://www.uniqlo.com/jp/store/goods/178772 I really wish they did this a in the winter or spring season, not summer also a new Denim Jacket (never owned one before, but now thinking about it)

    The Uniqlo Thread

I have a few, mostly their linen ones and their easy short pants (I don't know what they call it in the US, but in Japan, it's kind of like sweat shorts). the Sweatshorts pile fast. One linen short in navy, the crotch area got discolored fast and is a light blue another linen short seemed...

    The Uniqlo Thread

that's pretty interesting. in Japan, they are in your face with slogans like "its 1.5x cooler!" (and for the extra warm heattech.. its 1.5x warmer!!) I personally prefer the mesh one. it does feel cooler and dries faster. But if using as a stand alone shirt (I know many guys here wear it as...

Not sure in America, but in Japan there were always two types of airism.. a silky one and a mesh one (the mesh one being supposedly cooler). we also have two types of heattech. one thicker and warmer than the other.
