Leather Jackets: Always buy a size smaller...

Thanks - although I was hoping to hear a different answer, I thought this would be the case :( Returned it today.

Leather Jackets: Always buy a size smaller...

Well, the jacket does actually do up, but it's very snug. The shoulders seem to fit well, and the sleeve length isn't bad; it's really only the stomach where it's tight. I wonder if it's worth exploring my options here (stretching the leather - could a professional help?) or wearing it...

Leather Jackets: Always buy a size smaller...

Got in a stunner of a Gareth Pugh jacket, and did go a size smaller (34) than I typically do (36 is usually a tad too large for me): http://www.lyst.com/clothing/gareth-pugh-black-leather-zippered-removable-sleeve-bib-jacket/ Alas, it's too small to zip! I'm bummed. Kind of cool when worn as...

    Ask me about Eyewear!

Thanks @nightic and @CityConnection - I went with the frames and will post back with the results. The design is definitely unique but they look cool.

    Ask me about Eyewear!

Hi there, @CityConnection - have you any experience with Bugatti frames, in terms of quality? I found some very interesting ones that fit quite well, but I can't find any information on the brand and its product. Thank you!

    Ask me about Eyewear!

Does anyone have experience with Sama eyewear? I found some neat plastic sunglasses today - sort of a hybrid between the wayfarer style and round lenses. Are these quality shades? Thanks! - Kent

    Ask me about Eyewear!

You were right, @CityConnection - the feet couldn't be screwed onto the frames, so silicon pads were the solution suggested. I'm wearing them today and hoping they help to alleviate the digging-in feeling.

    Ask me about Eyewear!

So, I took my glasses to the optical shop and she volunteered to courier them to an outfit that should be able to add feet/pads to the frames, lifting them off of my face. I'm not sure how this will pan out but we'll see!

    Ask me about Eyewear!

Thanks again - I am taking them in to my optician tomorrow! I'll report back with the solution we achieve!

    Ask me about Eyewear!

Noted, thanks :) Is there any way of tweaking the plastic itself for a better fir, or are 'third-party' options like pads/feet the only way to address the fit?

    Ask me about Eyewear!

Thanks, CityConnection. Being a saddle bridge, I wasn't sure if pads/stickers were an option!

    Ask me about Eyewear!

Hi there - great thread! I recently acquired these Iyoko Inyaké plastic frames and although the temples were adjusted to fit properly, I'm experiencing some pinching on the nose. It leaves quite a mark by the end of the day. Based on the design/material, can the bridge be tweaked or...

Buying and Selling on eBay: Tips, Tricks, Problems & Questions

Agreed. They indicated they would reimburse me for return shipping - my concern now is more about whether I'll get a full refund for the original item (price + shipping) if the size they were supposed to send me is unavailable.

Buying and Selling on eBay: Tips, Tricks, Problems & Questions

Thanks. I'm probably over-thinking it. I did send it back with tracking (not signature confirmation though). I appreciate the clarification and confirmation!

Buying and Selling on eBay: Tips, Tricks, Problems & Questions

Disappointed today. I've had my eye on a gorgeous Diesel Black Gold sweater in all my local boutiques but it was unfortunately a) not in my size and b) out of my price range. The item: http://shop.diesel.com/ki-arturo/00S6JPBGKBJ.html Miracle upon miracles, I found it online - a German shop...
