    Reigning Champ Thread

@Understudy What about stretching? I won't dry it, and will rarely wash it. Will it stretch out at all like jeans do when you wear them?

Core Hoodie just arrived. It's snug. I'm 6'0" 170 and it hugs me, but it's not tight. The sleeves come right to the wrist so there's no break along the arms. How do these wear long term? If it shrinks a millimeter it's over, but I like the snug fit. Also, if it relaxes with wear like jeans do...

Viberg Boots - Reviews, appreciation, news - share yours

I'm trying to decide how often to treat my boots. I've read something like "treat them only when it looks like they're dry" and "treat them every month/year" and whatever. But I'm not even sure I know what dry looks like. If it helps I like the patina look. I don't want them to end up...

I saw them on a model in some pic somewhere and can confirm the skater look. Chucks are classics for a reason.

    A Question About Online Reviews

Maybe nobody looks at them, and it doesn't matter if retailers game the reviews? Bueller? Bueller?

Bummer about the sole, but those boots are looking amazing. It's crazy how much variation you get across pairs. I'm at 3 months now and nowhere near what you've achieved.

Wish I could offer advice. I've been watching you beat the **** out of these boots since you got them, and was waiting for your next set of pictures to show up. Definitely let us know what happens.

The What Are You Wearing Today (WAYWT) Discussion Thread, Part II

I'd add "use your timer feature" to the bullet about not using mirrors. Set the camera up on a desk and run to the other side of the room.

The What Are You Wearing Today (WAYWT) Discussion Thread, Part II

Has anyone ever started a thread about how to take better fashion selfies? Because most of these are really terrible and some of them are great. I'm not trolling; There's a reason I've not submitted a fit pic myself.

    A Question About Online Reviews

You know those little star ratings you see next to many products that are offered for sale online -- the ones retailers claim come from customer submissions? Do you submit them? Do you read them? Do you trust them? Do you use them to make purchase decisions? I think they started at...

I have a jean...(The Ultimate Jean Thread For Beginners) - ask questions here.

If you're going to measure a pair of jeans to collect data to buy a new pair of jeans, do you measure them freshly washed and dried (the shrunken, holy **** this is tight state) or after you've got them stretched out with a few days of wear (the ah, so comfy state). I love the fit I'm getting...

Question on this fit re: the tee. Would a form fitting tee have worked here? I don't know when to wear things that are trim and when to wear things that are baggy. I grew up with everything baggy and now I sort of hate it. But I like this fit/look a lot.

It's way too big, and/or a bad cut for you. Try the next size down. It's funny, I just went through the same thing with some shirts I bought online. I was much happier with the smaller size

    Naked and famous denim

Depending on what you got, they'll stretch considerably. I'm always thinking "these jeans are too tight," when I first buy them, and then they work out. If you can't get them buttoned at all, though, you're likely SOL unless you loose weight. And since we all gain and loose weight differently...

Why is it so hard to find attractive socks? I'd love to get a pair in bright red but I can't find anything heavy. Does anyone use short hems or roll up their pants to let socks show with these boots?
