Moving to Ireland, need shoe advice
So, definitely not going for the student bohemian/scummy look then. For classes there, anything goes. For pub-wear there it invariably boils down to jeans, shirt, pub jacket (to keep you warm getting there but dispensable) and non-sports shoes. The latter due to the fashion police bouncers...- piraca

Silk quality and preference is difficult to quantify remotely. Best case, would be to sample in person but this may be difficult in practice, especially from suppliers. I have not checked out a Kent Wang pocket square but have sampled a few variants of hand rolled and stitched. Quite difficult to master I have to say. Getting a regular hand stitch with a fairly fine hem requires a lot of skill. A machine stitch on the same hem often repeats on the corners...- piraca

Thanks, here is the link. It shows the Batik Tulis method for making Batik. This translates as writing/drawing Batik. It involves drawing wax onto the cloth with a Canting which inhibits the later steps of dying from permeating into the fabric thus creating the unique style. This technique...- piraca
