Diamond point bow tie
Totally agreed with this.... With regards to the "pointyness" of the diamond shape, image it being a scale from formal to casual - the more pointy, the more casual as a general guideline. Also depends on the fabric and pattern though of course.....- Sartres

What are the written (or unwritten) rules for wearing a bow tie?
It totally depends. If you are at work and you would normally be wearing a suit or blazer (i.e. at work), then you should combine your bow tie with those of course.
