Whew, long days at work recently. That's a good one, something could have beautiful fabric, construction and everything else you'd like, plus a great price, but if it doesn't fit, then the price might not be so great after all. I remember Alfani as well, it's practically enough to keep me out...

The last time I saw my uncle, he wore the most terrible red jacket. It was less of a standard red, more of a bright crimson and made of a billowy nylon or polyester fabric with a metal zipper running down the middle. The jacket had puffy shoulders with epaulets, and oversized, flowing sleeves...

    J FitzPatrick Appreciation Thread

No worries, I need to stop by when I'm back in New York anyway. I have a very high instep and wide feet so my fitting seems to be all over the place.

Is the Bremerton boot still available in-store? I'm out of town for the winter, but I'm about to wear through my rotation of Heschung boots and I'd like to try something new. Thanks!

Carmina Shoes - Definitive Thread (reviews, advice, sizing, etc...) - official thread.

Ordered a pair of Carmina x Massdrop wingtips awhile back, which would make my third pair of Carmina shoes and my first order through Massdrop. I'm sure the JR soles and fitted trees are very nice for whoever's wearing them, which unfortunately isn't me because USPS delivered them to the same...

I should have asked this earlier, but I need 5-10 more polos for this fall and want something with pockets in it. Since the MTO option for KW polos is gone, are you gents able add an option to sell matching-fabric swatches so I can take it to my tailor?

Thank you, I will ask for models on those two lasts out next time I'm at a store, just to be sure.

Is there an appropriate last for somebody that wears 13E in Alden's Barrie Last or 13EE/EEE in AE's 5 last? I ordered some captoes in 12EEE UK on the Rain last and noticed they were still quite too narrow. Thanks!

Pardon me if this has already been said, but is everyone tracking the recent Massdrop x Carmina GMTO? Oxford Wingtips, Rain last, JR soles, shoe trees for $350. https://www.massdrop.com/buy/massdrop-x-carmina-oxford-wingtips#overview (I think you have to be logged in to see this link)

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but was there an option years back to add pockets to the polo shirts? I'm happy with pretty much everything I've bought from KW so far, but my black and navy KW polos are my favorite shirts of any brand. Now that I'm in the market for new ones, I just wish they...

The alcohol alone probably won't cut it. I occasionslly use either lemon juice or mouthwash/Listerine Original to clean things and get tough scents out. Both tend to work very well, but I've never tried them in shoes yet. The listerine is a large part alcohol, but also contains herbal oils that...

Of the English shoe brands, I have found Tricker's to have the most selection and consistency of EEE-equivalent, only they call it "Fitting" rather than width. For Tricker's, Fitting 7 is the equivalent of American EEE. Other European makers have given me too many issues with width, even some...

I seemed to recall somebody in this thread was 11.5 EEE, figured it'd be a good opportunity to share. Hope the shoes suit you well! I notice it's a bit rare to find an EEE vintage shoe, while I notice narrows and extra narrows are plentiful, even NOS. I imagine even back then it was uncommon for...

After 2 years without so much as a cold, I've got the flu. I hear it's a particularly nasty variety this year, and after 3 days bedridden, I believe it. Reminds me of malaria. Found these beauties though: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/253418294923 Don't...

Ebay, $125/pr. My brother re-introduced me to Ebay's clothing deals a couple years back and I've been hooked. Haven't bought any big-ticket clothing items at retail price since then. Obscene deal$. Haha, actually, more like old habits. Last time I was particularly active on forums half the...

Thank you, I wish they still made them like that here. I wonder if the knowledge has been lost by now, at least within most of the US. Wow, I was going to say they compare favorably to my Lobb Paris shoes, but I didn't want to get ahead of myself. At $1000 (not factoring inflation?), it makes...
