Does your 36 not fit a sports coat or puffer jacket underneath at all, or just uncomfortably? Personally I thought the 36s I tried on were roomy enough for a thicker sweater or a soft sports coat, but I suppose I can make another trip back to the store to try a 38.- Janshi

Thanks for the feedback! A few folks mentioned possibly sizing up to a 38 - is that something you might suggest? My only concern is that a 38 might be too big if I'm not wearing an extra thick cardigan or sports coat underneath.- Janshi

Does the chest piece count as canvasing? If so, it's definitely canvased at least in that area, and quite stiffly. Thanks again all for your feedback, I'm going to bring it back to my tailor next week to see how we can solve these issues. Will update when I have more information.- Janshi
