    Congrats on the baby. For a diaper bag...get a backpack. Even if it's not Filson. The 261 is great for travel; but for general going out and when you are on the move, the ability to have both hands free is invaluable.

    I'm a lawyer and started with a 256. Eventually I found I needed just a little more room. Got a 257 and never looked back. That being said, I'm now contemplating a backpack. Any fellow lawyers here using a Journeyman or similar for your daily carry?

    Has anyone successfully had buttons, snap closures, or similar installed on the outside pockets of the 257? It's been my daily carry, but the outside pockets have become stretched out and frankly, it just looks sloppy when carrying around.

    Does anyone have the Tan Saddle Collection Doube Strap Briefcase? Any reviews? I know they are made by Korchmar; I'm wondering if these are considered premium to a normal Korchmar item.

    Lawyer here. I started out with a 256, but eventually moved up to a 257. I find the weight difference negligible, but the added space in the 257 is very much appreciated.
