Haha, yeah. I requested a refund for my two August 2013 orders this past October. I waited until the middle of November. When I didn't hear anything I contacted my credit card company and got my money back. Bought a Schott that very day and rocked it right up until it started snowing.- mcsmif

To be clear, I specifically asked for my money to be returned--and was not asked if I'd be okay with transferring my place / accepting payment from another customer. Ordinarily, this would bother me terribly, but I'm worn a bit thin worrying about these jackets.- mcsmif

So, I asked for a refund on both of my orders today (a TOJ0 and an A2--both from August 2013). Charly responded promptly and said that he'd "inform Drew." Two hours later I got a paypal transfer for the TOJ0 amount from a random person; I assume that Charly just "sold my spot" to someone...- mcsmif

This conversation again? It's not a work of art, it's a practical, utilitarian item. It's value is inherent to being able to actually wear it. So, you know, getting it for seasonal wear is... a consideration, at least. Just because it's not a hassle for you, doesn't mean that people can't feel...- mcsmif

62 weeks on two orders. I think I'm done. Once again, it's leather jacket weather and once again I'm leather jacket-less. I'll give it until the end of the month, and then I'll be selling my two spots, or demanding a refund or whatever. This whole exercise has been a giant waste of time...- mcsmif

A2 ordered on August 15 and TOJ0 ordered September 3 and I got... Nothing. Charly told me "before year end" last I checked. Let's hope my jackets at least come with zippers.- mcsmif

Thanks for you concern. But I wouldn't describe myself as mad. Bewildered, frustrated, and a bit impatient are closer to the truth. Can't imagine other people sitting on thousands of dollars worth of orders feel too far off. Maybe I should ******* curse less.- mcsmif

Nothing about this process makes the slightest bit of sense. All condolences to the bereaved, but if your production manager is absent... hire a new one. Not to mention it should have zero bearing on the actual manufacturing of jackets. Quote: Wallets and backpacks weren't supposed to...- mcsmif
