    Barto--- Probably the lighting. The Rutledge Walnut color seems a bit different than the rest of the Walnut colored AEs though.

     I agree, my next few pairs will definitely be some shade of brown. I just really liked those particular models in black as opposed to their brown shaded counterparts. Next shoe will have to be a walnut strand

    Not really, I had them previously and didn't feel like getting more AE trees. Maybe I'll switch them out to some AE trees at some point in the future, but there really isn't any reason. They get the job done. And yeah, the Walnut Rutledges are pretty awesome. Probably my favorite AE shoe.

    Don't regret i They are awesome, leather is definitely a step up from other Allen Edmonds. I will post some pics later with a proper saphir wax.

     I just got the AE trees the same time I ordered the shoes. They are even a couple of bucks cheaper at the shoe bank. If you're worried about the right size trees for your shoes, AE trees have a size chart so you can order the correct size. I know there are probably "better" trees than AE's...
