    Shopping spree

I think the previous poster was being a little harsh. There's nothing wrong with Express. I'd wear most of the items you brought except the shoes and the Paisley shirt.

Mid-ankle shoes hurt my right heel - What to do?

Yikes, looks like it's time to replace your shoes. No amount of style is worth that sort of discomfort. 0_0

what do you guys think? too much?

I'm actually a fan of bow ties, although I rarely wear them. If I were you I'd choose another pocket square though, as it doesn't seem to go with the look. Sometimes contrasting patterns can works but something about it just seems a little off to me. More information on what type of event you're...

Men do they still know how to dress?

Thankfully he was wrong, it's been over ten years since the OP posted and Walmart didn't become the next Ralph Lauren ha ha. ;-) In all seriousness, people tend to dress casually these days as society and the average work place tends to be more relaxed. However, there will always be men who...

casual shirts - semi spread or button down

While I prefer the button down option as it's clean and classic, you might want to consider getting a few shirts in each style as it's always good to have different options available and to change up your look a little on different occasions.

If you ran into $1,500 randomly and unexpectedly

Yeah, to be honest I'd put the money towards a trip too, rather than invest it as I'm not sure there's a legal sure fire way to double or triple your money. You could put it aside to invest once you have a bit more perhaps .. Either way, finding out you had $1500 in your pocket is a great...

    Opinion on a Tie Design!

Your school should let you redesign your entire uniform, you seem to have a knack for fashion design. :-) I could actually see that tie being adopted by your school!

So does this have no place in my wardrobe?

It's perfectly fine to keep a few pair of casual street shoes, however I'm not really a fan of the pair you posted but we all have our own individual taste and sense of style. Basically if you still like them then keep them if not then perhaps donate them or sell them online. As for when to wear...

    Do the shoes go?

Well done on taking on some of the advice we gave you on your first outfit, this outfit is far better than the first! :-) You're a fast learner if you take on some of the advice given to you above you'll be dressing sharp in no time. Don't worry about making the odd mistake, I cringe just...

How many miles did you run today?

Today was a bit of a hetic day. I only managed to clock up 4 miles before I ran out of time but I'll go for an 8 mile run tomorrow to get back on track.

Workout routine to slim down lower body?

Pilates does wonders and sculpts lean long legs. Contrary to popular belief it's not just for girls. Most gyms will offer Pilates classes but if you're a little embrassed you can always try out Pilates at home just make sure you have a Pilates or Yoga mat. Personally I use the Windosr Pilates 20...

    Do the shoes go?

I agree with the previous posters, the shoes are a no go with that outfit. However, they aren't as bad as some of the guys are making out and I can actually see them working with a different outfit. Perhaps pair them with long chinos and a pale colored shirt (e.g light blue) for a smart casual...

What Were You Wearing 10 Years Ago? WAYWRN-X

I shudder just thinking back to my style 10 years ago. I would've been 13 and back then I lived in jeans, casual nike shoes and plain black and white t-shirts ha ha. I wasn't very adventurous and had absolutely no concept of style.

    New and need some advice

The poster above is right, midnight blue tuxedo's are really in at the moment. I think I spotted a few men sporting them on the red carpet for the Oscars. As an alternative perhaps look at getting a slim fit velvet suit like the one below.

What type of tie would you wear with this shirt?

I'd actually wear it with a fun patterned tie, like the one pictured with it. I don't really know if a monochromatic tie would look right with it. Although, if you're brave a light pink tie could work.

Should I sell my bottle of Vintage Tabarome?

I agree with all the previous posters, if you're not crazy about it definitely decant some for yourself and sell the rest after all why leave it sitting there when you can buy a pair of shoes that you do love!

How many miles did you run today?

Gees some of you guys are motivated ha ha. Today I clocked in a 5 mile run, my goal is to run 5 miles, 6 days a week on top of all the sport I'm involved in.

    Running Shoes

Nike Lunaglide 3, looks like I'm not the only one ha ha. I run 6 days a week and find they are light and easy to run in but also have the structure and support I need.

    Running Shoes

They're my running shoe of choice too!

Too Young for Ralph Lauren Purple Label?

Firstly you can never be too young for any paticular brand or line of suits. However, with that being said I don't think you should go for the purple label suit because you're not happy with the cut and fit and I think you should only buy a suit if you love it as a suit is an investment piece.
