    Velasca Shoes

Slightly edited pictures with colours closer to real life. I wore them for the first time yesterday and it is surprisingly comfortable which probably can be attributed to the Blake-Rapid Stitch construction and the Vibram outsoles. Looking forward them to expand their collection.

Affordable chukkas - Bexley, Herring, Velasca, etc - experiences/recommendations

I have bought the Velasca chukkas after seeing some IRL pics in SF and on Instagram. http://www.styleforum.net/t/402715/velasca-shoes/15#post_8166870 above is what I posted and you can also see some more pictures by NOBD and further details in that thread.

    Velasca Shoes

Pictures are not as good as what @NOBD took, but neverthess chucking in few more shots of the chukka. All unedited. Will try to post some edited ones tonight. In first sight, build quality looks good and suede is okay. It's my first time with Blake-Rapid constructed shoes and also a first...

    Meermin Mallorca Shoes

That's very odd. Length of my foot is approximately 263mm and I wear Nikes in US8/UK7 which is 260mm or US8.5 if i want to have a bit of toe room. I wear UK6 on Olfe last and leaves me with ample amount of toe room due to the elongated shape of the last. UK7.5 will definitely be too big. I...

#bootgamestrong these are really tempting. Call it the poor men's Galway? Wonder how their new "antique calf" will hold after a while.

    Meermin Mallorca Shoes

I arrived at the shop half an hour before closing so there was only one sales assistant and he did not speak English well. Though I had no problem in asking for models and sizes I was looking for.

    Meermin Mallorca Shoes

Went to the shop in February. Shop is really nice. It's a must visit for any SFers. Shop stock includes some of the past GMTO models as well as discontinued models and a wide range of women's that is now unavailable online.

Both Hanz de Fuko and Marlin Goetz look very interesting! Didn't knew both of the brands before. Guess it's time to move onto a different brand. Cheers!

    The Official Hair Thread

Been interested in Baxter as well. Is that the "Clay Pomade" you're mentioning? Their product names seems to go by "clay", "cream", "soft water", and "hard water". Though, I prefer water based ones than cream/ oil based ones. That's why I've used the AC Pomade, which is water based, for quite a...

I have the same type of hair. American Crew products are quite nice when it comes to styling. Holds nicely with just the right amount of shine. Easy to rinse out as well.

Are the folks at CJ more attentive? For example, if you say you're looking for model A and B in size X will they look it up for you?
