Whoops! Sorry for the confusion....when I said "morning suit", I didn't mean the actual morning suit (that has a tail). I used the term "morning suit" just because the cathedral event will be at 11:30 in the morning, which is when I will be wearing the suit.......hence the term "morning suit"...- palmtree8

As a matter of fact I already have a morning suit, made in the country where I will be getting married.....I know it's not the best looking suit either, but I believe it's better than the one that I showed in the very first post of this thread, which if the tailor screwed up, perhaps I'll wear...- palmtree8

Haha....yes I know I'm not that built....but I'm working on it! I recently lost 13 kilograms (I think around 30 lbs), so that's quite an achievement right?! While in my current form I may never look like those guys in the examples, I think that had the tailor done a better job, my suit...- palmtree8

Thanks for the congrats Eric! Most of you are Americans right? I guess most of your recommendations probably can't be found here in Canada? I did go to Banana Republic today though....and I saw some nice Monogram suits, but I didn't really like any of the colours =/ If any of you can...- palmtree8

What's a "mysuit" store?? I still have a buffer.......my plan B is if she screwed it up, I'd probably get another one in the country where I'll be getting married. From the time that I land till the wedding, I have about 38 days, which I think, hopefully, is enough time!- palmtree8

Not in a bedroom......but a meeting room, probably around 8 metres x 8 metres. The suit company owners are a bunch of really tall caucasians (almost 200 cm / 6'7") wearing surprisingly really good suits, especially the guy who's been taking care of my account. I'm about to go to the tailor's workshop now....wish me luck! The wedding is going to be in Indonesia... :). Not at the beach though....the morning matrimonial ceremony will be at the cathedral, and the night reception at a banquet hall in a hotel.....- palmtree8

No no no...I didn't take the measurements myself...as I mentioned in post #8, I actually came to one of their events (in which I chose the material, colour, lining, style, paid for the suit), and their Hong Kong based tailor took my measurements......- palmtree8

There were no fittings... Let me explain what happened: I live in Toronto, Canada. The suit company doesn't have a store front....they conduct events in which people come to get their measurements taken, and they choose the suit colour, material, style, etc. I came to one of their events at...- palmtree8

Despite the less than desired outcome, the owner has been very kind and professional to me, and he's even gonna be covering the alteration costs....if I were to mention their name here, I'm afraid they could lose potential clients...- palmtree8

Basically the suit was made overseas (the measurement was done here in Canada though), but the alteration can be done free of charge by a local tailor who was referred to me by the company that made the suit (they often work together). Well according to them this is a bespoke suit, made 100%...- palmtree8

Hi everyone... I got a bespoke suit made last month, and I got it today. I've got to say that it's too snug/baggy for my taste. My wedding suits: colour suggestions please? =)
By the way, I have a normal frame.... 180 cm tall, about 77 kg. Somehow I prefer the skinny tie as it looks more stylish to me.....do you think it would work well with my figure?- palmtree8
