Help! My bespoke suit is too baggy :(

No........except Nordstrom, which I heard is trying to expand to Canada, but I don't know what's happening with that plan at the moment.......

Help! My bespoke suit is too baggy :(

Whoops! Sorry for the confusion....when I said "morning suit", I didn't mean the actual morning suit (that has a tail). I used the term "morning suit" just because the cathedral event will be at 11:30 in the morning, which is when I will be wearing the suit.......hence the term "morning suit"...

Help! My bespoke suit is too baggy :(

As a matter of fact I already have a morning suit, made in the country where I will be getting married.....I know it's not the best looking suit either, but I believe it's better than the one that I showed in the very first post of this thread, which if the tailor screwed up, perhaps I'll wear...

Help! My bespoke suit is too baggy :(

Haha....yes I know I'm not that built....but I'm working on it! I recently lost 13 kilograms (I think around 30 lbs), so that's quite an achievement right?! While in my current form I may never look like those guys in the examples, I think that had the tailor done a better job, my suit...

Help! My bespoke suit is too baggy :(

Thanks for the congrats Eric! Most of you are Americans right? I guess most of your recommendations probably can't be found here in Canada? I did go to Banana Republic today though....and I saw some nice Monogram suits, but I didn't really like any of the colours =/ If any of you can...

Help! My bespoke suit is too baggy :(

Yes I told her about the exact departure date, and she told me the would make my suit a priority and have it ready 2 to 3 days before, or even earlier =)

Help! My bespoke suit is too baggy :(

Yes but she is aware of my departure date, and she told me that she should have it ready 2 to 3 days before, or possibly even earlier than that =). Nice to meet you Chris!

Help! My bespoke suit is too baggy :(

What's a "mysuit" store?? I still have a buffer.......my plan B is if she screwed it up, I'd probably get another one in the country where I'll be getting married. From the time that I land till the wedding, I have about 38 days, which I think, hopefully, is enough time!

Help! My bespoke suit is too baggy :(

Not in a bedroom......but a meeting room, probably around 8 metres x 8 metres. The suit company owners are a bunch of really tall caucasians (almost 200 cm / 6'7") wearing surprisingly really good suits, especially the guy who's been taking care of my account. The HK based tailor though, is in...

Help! My bespoke suit is too baggy :(

Hi guys, I met with the tailor already..... she put a lot of pins and showed me how everything will look like after the alteration... hopefully the whole thing can be rescued!! What colours would you suggest for the tie? And what about the pocket square? I already have a white one, but if you...

Help! My bespoke suit is too baggy :(

Thanks Despos! I'll try and remember what the local tailor tells me...hopefully she will be able to fix it! You seem to be extremely experienced...are you a tailor yourself? With 30, 40 years of experience? ;)

Help! My bespoke suit is too baggy :(

Yes may be it's MTM afterall.....we'll never know...either the bespoke term may have been a marketing gimmick, or the tailor was just having a bad day..... 2 months till the wedding, yes, but I am leaving to the country where I'm getting married in about 3 weeks from today, so that's all I...

Help! My bespoke suit is too baggy :(

I'm about to go to the tailor's workshop now....wish me luck! The wedding is going to be in Indonesia... :). Not at the beach though....the morning matrimonial ceremony will be at the cathedral, and the night reception at a banquet hall in a hotel.....

Help! My bespoke suit is too baggy :(

No no no...I didn't take the measurements myself...as I mentioned in post #8, I actually came to one of their events (in which I chose the material, colour, lining, style, paid for the suit), and their Hong Kong based tailor took my measurements......

Help! My bespoke suit is too baggy :(

There were no fittings... Let me explain what happened: I live in Toronto, Canada. The suit company doesn't have a store front....they conduct events in which people come to get their measurements taken, and they choose the suit colour, material, style, etc. I came to one of their events at...

Help! My bespoke suit is too baggy :(

Not sure if it's appropriate to mention their name here......? Despite the less than desired outcome, the owner has been very kind and professional to me, and he's even gonna be covering the alteration costs....if I were to mention their name here, I'm afraid they could lose potential clients...

Help! My bespoke suit is too baggy :(

Basically the suit was made overseas (the measurement was done here in Canada though), but the alteration can be done free of charge by a local tailor who was referred to me by the company that made the suit (they often work together). Well according to them this is a bespoke suit, made 100%...

These are what I think great suits.....wouldn't you all agree? Do you think mine can be altered to look just like these? (the RIGHT SIDE)

Help! My bespoke suit is too baggy :(

Hi everyone... I got a bespoke suit made last month, and I got it today. I've got to say that it's too snug/baggy for my taste. Here are some pics, and I am sure you guys will probably agree that everything has to be heavily altered? I am 511", 170 lbs, and the suit makes me look fatter than...

My wedding suits: colour suggestions please? =)

By the way, I have a normal frame.... 180 cm tall, about 77 kg. Somehow I prefer the skinny tie as it looks more stylish to me.....do you think it would work well with my figure?
