    The Uniqlo Thread

the cut of the slim fit dress shirts is different than the flannels, so you might even wear a different size in each. at your size the M flannel will be big i'd guess. but you know they have a fit guide with measurements and you can measure a shirt you have which fits well to compare.

at least in the three i have this is true: point-collar with side pleats, button-down with center box pleat. additionally, the the point-collar shirts have two pockets with buttons in front (the first pic you see hides this) while the button-down collared shirts have one without a button.

i think they might have passed it down. my impression of people who work in the field: they change a constant and publish a new paper; it amounts to basically what you're describing! it's why they can churn out so many papers. (i'm not an expert in the area, but it doesn't speak well that this...

Good Natured Advice Thread (improving a business wardrobe)

i don't see the ambiguity of "well-behaved" as a huge problem in certain contexts, but i don't think it is something that should stick around for any length of time. in my field it is often used to describe sufficient conditions for something to do what the speaker/writer wants. this is annoying...

Ralph Lauren lines, and 'who makes what' - a definitive guide

I can only offer comparative remarks, since I have a PRL with a similar looking label (and several others with the more recognizable Corneliani tags inside the pocket). It looks similar in format to a blue PRL blazer I have (but mine is in English, not German, and where that is light blue, mine...

while that is quite good, if I had to choose a best it would be Heady Topper (which is significantly better than any IPA I have ever had).

6 weeks. By "placed order" I assume you mean "I want this fabric with the following changes -2cm waist etc.". Otherwise more like 7-8 weeks. I had to wait for the trial suit, try it on, take pictures, get feedback, etc.

well the broken link pics only work for me if i click on the original. if it shows up in something someone quoted, i can't get anything. still annoying.

While this isn't an answer to your question, I will say that I had very good success having a Harrington jacket made by Luxire based off of shirt measurements (they had made about three shirts for me at that point). I only described how I wanted it to fit and the length in the back. It came back...

i agree going with your best fitting pants will produce good results. my first pair fit great in the hips/thigh/butt. i will say that i discovered that i like my cotton odd pants to fit a little slimmer in the leg than my suit pants (or my odd wool pants for that matter). so it's worth thinking...

    Official Wedding Attire Question/Answer/Picture Thread

I agree about the KW houndstooth being too small. I also prefer something more on the scale of his shepherd's check. Sam Hober has one that looks to be about the right scale. But even beyond these three ties there are plenty of ties in the silver family, if we just restrict to that, that make...
