SPIER & MACKAY - Official Affiliate Thread

I'm interested in a sportscoat in the Neapolitan cut. I'm 5'5" 138 lb. They only have it available on the website on sizes 34S (Slim) and 36S (Contenporary), I suspect I am actually a 36S Slim, or should I be thinking aobut the other sizes?

    MTM Shirt Fit

Possibly cheapest option + time savings + customization. 1) I am 5’5” 140 lbs, it’s almost impossible to find something RTW that fits. 2) I live in DC. Tailors are expensive and it takes additional time buying RTW and then having to deal with a tailor. If I get correct size in MTM I can just...

    MTM Shirt Fit

thanks for your help! So we are talking about a ~1 cm adjustment for the sleeve length? what guideline for cuff size do you recommend? I think the back doesn't look clean, but if i take too much in at the waist then it'd be a little bit uncomfortable when I sit, and also if I gain any weight...

    MTM Shirt Fit

Hello, I’m thinking about getting 12 shirts from this shirt maker to wear to work(typically under a sportscoat). This is our second attempt at getting the shirt proportions right. I already washed/dried the shirt 3 times Should I go ahead and order the 12 shirts or is there any modification...

    MTM Shirt Fit / Remake

Hello, I got an MTM from one of the brands typically recommended here, and unfortunately the shirt came out too small. Could you guys help me out deciding what modifications I should ask them to make? The first photo is with the sleeves unbuttoned. My plan is to eventually (after nailing down...

    John Lobb Appreciation Thread

Those look beautiful! I just think it's more difficult to pair shoes that look like that with the rest of your clothes... that being said, I checked out some John Lobb shoes at a store yesterday, and it seemed that the claret ones were darker in person, so I might end up getting it in claret....

    John Lobb Appreciation Thread

Thanks for the response, I really appreciate it. I actually like the plum a bit better in those photos, since the claret one seems kind of red. Or maybe it's just the AT-AT grabbing my attention? :p I have another question. If I live in the USA and would like to get an MTO, is Skoaktiebolaget...

Hello, I'm planning to get an MTO later this month and wanted to hear your recommendations since this is my first time getting a pair of JL shoes. I'm getting the Jermyn III in either Plum Museum or Claret, but I'm still undecided. What would you guys recommend between those two? are they even...

I haven't gotten pants in a few years. Are there any plans to offer RTW Wool Trousers this year? or MTO is now the only option?

Carmina Shoes - Definitive Thread (reviews, advice, sizing, etc...) - official thread.

I was looking to take advantage of the MTO offer that ends today. I'm looking for a pair like this one which was available at Unipair a few years ago: Is there any way to get something like this by MTO? I do not see this model as an option for an MTO boot when I try to customize one.

Where could I find a proxy in Florence? (Liverano & Liverano)

Hello, I wanted to buy a Liverano jacket, but unfortunately they don't do mail ordering. Does anyone know where I could find a proxy in Florence that could help me place an order. I tried using the search function and noticed that the proxy thread has been dead for 6 years...

The Ultimate Vass (Footwear) Thread (Pictures, reviews, sizing, etc...)

Thanks for your response. Is it common to size up one full size between F and U? or you're implying that a 39.5 U might also fit properly?
