Also, it costs a lot to produce a classical album--for the larger works, you have to pay union fees for all the musicians involved, and the recording engineer has to be really top notch, again especially in the larger works. Alden worth the price diff over AE? (can of worms)
I like my Aldens significantly more than my AEs, but if you are patient, you can pick up AEs for very cheap on eBay. I got a pair of AE cordovan shell longwings for $200, and I got a very nice AE burgundy calf medallion toe for $70, both BNIB (albeit likely factory seconds). That's quite a bit...- landho

Try on Tricker's Stow in NYC Area?
My experience with Tricker's country line is that they run a full size big--normally I am a 9C or 9B, but I take a 7UK/8US in the Tricker's I have. (As my feet are narrow, you may want to size down only one half.)- landho
